Worth buying in 2012?

So finally decided to buy MNC, is it still worth buying it in 2012, is there enuf ppl to play properly without long player searches?

Just read the forums, here and elsewhere, before you decide to buy. The community has devolved into a bunch of bored players who think that "skill" means spawn camping, glitch exploits, and host abuse. Occasionally, these players are doing other things, and the game that is left without them is awesome, but you need to decide for yourself if these limited periods of enjoyment are worth the long periods of idiocy.

Personally, I wait for host to cycle and then idle and wait for them to leave, which just means I might end up having to watch tv during a time originally intended for play, most get bored quickly, they take the enjoyment of others by cheating, then they lose out on their enjoyment when people ignore their childish behavior. What with the short attention span of kids these days, i've never really had to wait more than an hour or so for my lobby to clear itself of douches.

Yeah, it is usually not a problem.
There are sometimes dead lobbies where people don't wait long enough to fill up, but the largest problem is finding a lobby where people are pub stomping and when you leave you keep finding it and re-joining over and over - it is just the nature of the way the game does a search for lobbies.

A lot of people still play but since the game is 2yr old you are going to have to climb a huge hill if you want to get good

The game is a lot of fun and definitely great value for the price. Everyone at the start experiences growing pains (especially vs veterans) because it is fairly unique with a bit of a learning curve compared to most shooters.

I wouldn't bother reading much into supersmurphs posts, ever. He is just a disgruntled idiot who was on here the first week he got the game with a dissertation of excuses and complaints to why he was losing. If you are a normal, fun-seeking person, you will grow accordingly with the game, get along with the rest of the community, and adjust to the game quicker through befriending them, etc.

Then again, if the soopersmurph route suits you better, flip through some of his old posts to see the pure enjoyment he gets from the game and the countless friends he has made

It's a good game, and usually has enough players to get a game going. It just comes down to if you have enough patience to learn how to play on whether or not you'll get the full enjoyment from it.

hey man u can call me whatever you want, God bless the first amendment. i play this game maybe once a week, if lucky, hell i dont think i've ever even run into you. but the fact that ALL you do is complain about getting pubstomped, juice chained, and spawn struck shows that you flat out are just bad and always on the receiving end of a beating lol you are the classic case of a sore loser who just WONT let it go

Also, just ignore soopersmurph. He adds nothing, and despite his cries of "I want to make the game better" does nothing but make it seem like this is a bad game, and probably turned away a potential new player who had a very simple question - he is what is ruining this game, he is an admitted cheater (admits to boosting), he ruins teams by idling and leaving them short manned, but just know that he is in the minority.
