I'm watching Kokoro Connect.

I'm trying to find a good site for the Maria+Holic anime, since for some reason I can't find the manga beyond chapter 22~...but that isn't even halfway through it.

There was another series that someone told me to watch, but I've forgotten the name...eh, I have it on the other computer. I'll post it tomorrow.

as a non-anime watcher i have a question.

why are animes so obsessed with random surprised gasps/grunts/moans/breathing sounds?

Can you give an example...? I kind of understand what you mean, since I have a friend who communicates almost entirely in stock sound effects...(Like saying 'Jiiiiiiiii' means she's staring at someone...)

please don't kill me but the most recent single-player final fantasy game (XII I believe) comes to mind. not all japanese stuff takes it to the extreme but it is way more prevalent than in american stuff. i am not saying its bad, its weird and not for me but i am genuinely curious!

My sarcasm and mocking tone were directed at people who pronounce the letters in FLCL. Personally, I love the show, and I'm not even a huge anime fan.

It's overrated.

Most anime are only like...13 episodes, I think? Some are approved for another season, but very few go on for more than two seasons.

from what i looked up, it's slated to have 25 episodes, though there's apparently gonna be other games after they finish SAO
