JUST SOME IDEAS ON THE FUTURE UPDATE...

Obviously need some new maps but I know that's in the works and I've seen the new map coming this month, looks decent. I was also reading that there's gonna be an all star mode or whatever its called where all level 99's can level up again and get some kind of emblem once you reach 99 a second time. That's cool and all but how bout something in game so you can be recognized as a 99x2 soldier. Maybe a gold gun or a shiny new paint job on your armor or something. Just a little something extra to make you stand out from the players still trying to reach level 99 a first time. Just a suggestion. But all things considered, even tho there's some kinks to work out, great game!

if you read a previous thread, youd see my rant against this kind of thing. but i will not say anything here. if im outnumbered im outnumbered. im not sure where i stand, but i dont think ill comment on it here. ill just watch.

Yeah, that would be cool too. Definitely would be nice to have something new to spice things up a bit. I'd like to see the shiny armor happen. Would be pretty awesome to see like a metallic red or blue pro in the battlefield. Would be something to let the newbs know to stay clear of that guy! Lol

No one ever said there there is only one 0-99 round of All Star mode.

In fact during the 'Game with Devs' Eka confirmed you can do it multiple times. Not to mention there is also a post with him saying it somewhere as well.

Well thats true. But in all honesty, unless theres something really cool to go along with it, I'll probably only "All Star" once. Thats all I did playing MW2 too. A new emblem next to my name just wasn't enough to make it worth it for me to do all the leveling up again and I'm the type that enjoys playing the game more than caring about tags and what not. Although it is different in that game because you loose all your weapons and perks. Now if there's gonna be more than one "All Star" level...how bout every level gives you one piece of your armor the shiny new paint job? This would definitely be something to make me wanna keep leveling up.

How about a paintjob that is so white that to even look at me in game would be like looking at the new dashboard after the update.

If you look around the Wishlist thread, there are tons of suggestions for what we should do to extend and customize the game. Lot of good ideas that are beyond the scope of this game that we might add in for future DLCs. "All Star" is not like MW in the sense that you get to choose to All Star or not. It's takes your Lifetime Earnings and assigns an icon and level. It's very simple and acts as a feedback to how long you've been playing the game.

We're not MW, Halo or any other retail $60 title that people like to compare us to and wonder why there aren't the same amount of features. Simple answer is that this is a smaller focused $15 game and we work within the scope of our team size and budget.

a new map and blitz were much higher priorities tho, im glad they had their priorities straight and so far i love whats coming. they need to consider not letting microsoft "hold onto" their dlc for two months at a time tho...

...microsoft will stare at a piece of paper without approval for years if they believe they have better things to do and/or will profit from it not leaving their hands.

and they probably will profit from just staring at it without action, until the black ops craze is over. then it will become more profitable to release it than to hold it, which they will then release it.

Eka...I meant no disrespect by comparing you to any other game but any gamer can see that "All Star" is ALMOST the same as prestiging. I own both Gears 2 and MW2 and yet all I play is MNC. What we have here is an almost perfect game and all that's needed is a little listening to the crowd and giving them what is possible give them. Fear not...regardless what gets added in and doesn't I will be playing this game. My post is simply exclaiming what I'd like to see in the updates to make this "The perfect game" in my eyes

actually, someone in the wishlist section said that they lost their passion in life and their love life has stagnated and they had nothing left to live for and was going to wither away, all because they had hit 99.

the devs responded by adding this.

and i would absolutely hate the idea of having to level to 99 twenty times just to "look cool" is all. i work, im lvl 83 now, im good, but i dont have time to devote to leveling. thus why i havent played runescape in a while.

but a LOT of others feel differently. meh, i suppose ill put up with it. i never minded putting up with it since CoD4

To be honest for MNC to be a big and lasting hit it will need similar aspects of today's popular shooters. Class Based, Earned Awards (Protags), Custom Loadouts (Endorsements), Private/Custom Match Options, Content Add-Ons, and Level Advancement. So it's only natural for it to be compared to "other" familiar games.

As it stand this game is amazing and can only get better.
