A moderator for the 360 section

I sent a message to polynomial about all the spam that's been popping up lately. I think it'd be great to either have a mod to watch over the 360, PC or both sections for MNC.

I understand the forums are dead, the game is no longer supported by uber, and that new players rarely make it here, but I think it'd be nice to have a clean forum that has a bunch of stickys worth reading. Stuff like guides, gameplays, FAQs etc.

There was a price reduction and plenty of new players who purchased it for that reason. The game was rated in the top 10 XBLA games of all time and continues to strive 2 years later. It's not that rare for a new player to come to the forums just to lurk and see what it's about. All they're gonna see is arguing at this point and nothing benefical.

Yeah, I think that would be helpful. But I can't think of whom I would suggest to do it...

No you're absolutely right dadale lol. I was going to include that all the arguments are between me and or peachy but I thought that would just start another pointless argument.

This is a terrible analogy... but...

Think of the forums death like an actual person dying. The last time you present the body/forum to the public, you have an undertaker/funeral director/embalmer who's job is to make the corspe clean and presentable.

I figure a page full of useful stickys or threads that actually contain valuable information for new players would do more good than anything.

Toon, I'd suggest either you or jon just based on how helpful you guys have been, and jon's kinda got that loveable father figure feel to him. However, I don't know if the mods will go for it, or if either of you want to do it. I'd honestly do it or at least contribute to the clean up since I don't think the mods would 1) want me to mod or 2) want anyone to extra to have mod control throughout the forums.

I asked if there was anyway to mod a specific section, and not have any mod powers anywhere else.

I wouldn't be a very good candidate, simply because I am not interested. I think Jon would be great, but he has been banned a couple of times and I don't think Uber would go for it.

I have a notarised screencap from Eka stating that I won't be banned again (loosely interpreted).

Teapot, period.

He's the most interested, motivated, experienced & willing to deal with the best/worst players, and countless times has been a part in reviving this games interest for those seeking it. A personal tif with peachy aside, he's also pretty level headed.

I'm fine with this too. If you and Chron are okay with this Teapot, I'd totally vouch to Gaf for this.

Teapot would be good. That sort of makes him the front runner...
But it isn't just the "feud" with him and Peachy (that was more funny) but also Skill. He seems to keep it contained to the person he is fighting with at least, and doesn't seem the type to abuse his mod powers - heck, he was the only person I trusted with the login info to my second account to admin it.
