I am happy to host them. I just need to know there is interest - there hasn't been much lately, but I have seen a lot of people online lately. There have been some 3v3 and 4v4 going on, but it isn't the same. I am checking out Hybrid when it comes out http://www.whatishybrid.com/ so if it is any good, I will likely play that. It comes out on the 30th, so this weekend will be spent on that...
Hybrid looks way too... clusterf***y. To be quite honest, if you have a computer capable of running most of the solid PC games out there, I don't understand why you're still here. There's so much more to the PC gaming scene than the console side.
I work in IT - I hate computers. I can barely stand playing Diablo 3. I quit SWtOR because I hate looking at computers when I get home so much. But yeah, Hybrid might be clusterfuck, and I am not a fan of 3v3. But I will try the demo.
Get your *** onto the Orange Box and into TF2. That game's been around longer and still has some competitive players. The 360 version or PC version, really. The PC version is just a cluster-****, but it's probably still more popular in competitiveness.
^ not sure whether to agree or disagree. I did find a decent lobby full of 2/3 level prestiges that I never heard of before. They were in a clan too. It's somewhat decent competition but these players already knew that all they have to do is melee bots and buy juice. It sucks how all these players see are people juice chaining so they just follow their footsteps. Last night I got juice chained hard by 3 players. It was obvious they were going for kills and not the objective. The next game I chose assault and try harded them 56-3. Next game they invite another friend and all choose assault. In came chron and eventually fightinmongoose and then came the rage quits. All in all, these games only get competitive in the sense of who can hold middle or who can buy juice. Last night was fun so maybe we can get some privates going sometime in the future. Feedle can you teach me how to make custom lobbies? I want to turn juice off and possibly limit some classes.
one the other night. lots of new players. like, bought the game that day players. plus a couple recognizable new faces of better pub players of the last couple months. randomtoon go train these people
Working on it. I got a couple of people more up to speed, they just need to get their aim down, and see more of the "I didn't know you could do that" type of moves. Did some map work, and then hit pubs. They held their own against some better pub players, but still got crushed by PM regulars. So...things are as expected. But let's be honest, I have little business teaching anyone anything
Getting crushed by pm regulars especially pm slayers like me and Gunked is expected. I just don't wanna hear the words "I can only" anymore. Come on people 2-3 classes and general multitasking (pros and bots) or focusing on the sniper and tank, etc, shouldn't be too much to ask!
