So it's my first full day back since the update

I love this game so freaking much. After being away a few weeks then coming back with hopes that the things that literally stop me from playing would be fixed, I was actually surprised at how unfixed the game actually was.

Now I don't care about perfect balance, I can play through that. I don't care about people glitching, I can play through that. I don't care about my team of friends being split up, I can play through that.

What I can't play through is game crippling LAG from bad hosts, host migration failing %100 of the time (6 or 7 times today in only a few hours). This literally restricts me from playing this great game, it seems I spend as much time in the lobby as I do playing.

I did end up finding a good host that stayed around for 5 or 6 games straight and it was great fun, like the game is supposed to be even know we got our asses handed to us I still had fun. I even ran into a couple people here from the forums and got to see them kick *** and kick my ***.

I usually don't waste my time and post my complaints on forums but the people here at Uber actually seem to listen, care and respond. I'm lvl 80 so I've logged some decent time with this game, my question is: is this ever going to be fixed? We waited so long for this update and other than a couple glitch fixes and balance fixes the actually problems that stop me from playing weren't fixed.

Is what going to be fixed? The fact that it's a peer to peer game? Or the fact the sometimes it happens to pick a bad host?

Anyways with the free DLC will also come a lot more "fixes" and tweeks so hopefully some of that will address this problem.

We are always looking into host migration issues.

However, there's very little we can do about internet lag.

I got the same problem, I love the game but I can't play it because of lag. I know it's P2P but there's other P2P games that don't lag like this game, MW2 for example.

I guess my gripe is with p2p games and I understand why they do it, I just miss dedicated servers I guess is all. I do expect host migration will be better in the future, you guys sure do seem like you're working on it.

That's not true, because I can name a few XBox games that have dedicated servers. Not to mention that it was announced that Gears of War 3 would have them.

ive played fc2 on the 360 and doesnt have it but ok deadstretch. if there is one or two games out of every online console game that supposedly has fan dedicated servers then you win your obligatory argument with every post i make

First day I got back I switched from the classes I always play; Tank + Support. To the classes I never play. Sniper + Gunner + Assault.

But not Assassin. That class is stupid with it's wah you have to be quiet you can't run into a tank head on. :evil:

Actually, it did. Btw there are three other Far Cry's on the XBox.

All with user/fan run dedicated servers.
