nah the gunner grapple is only useful at level 1 and isnt more useful almost at all at level 2 and 3. BUT IT IS USEFUL BY GIVING THE GUNNER THE ABILITY TO DOUBLE-GRAPPLE (one with his secondary left-trigger, one with his red button). THIS DOUBLE-GRAPPLE CAN DELAY JUICERS TRYING FOR TURRENT KILLS AND RUN THEM OUT OF JUICE BEFORE THEY ESCAPE YOUR GRAPPLES.

whereas the level 2 fly gets you a "free 1-up" if you get sent out the arena far, and level 2 and 3 fly are amazing on maps with large space, mainly grenadeIII. you can fly from spawn to spawn with level 1 fly, but you can fly anywhere with plenty of room for comfort if you have level 2 fly, if not level 3.

you know how i know all this about fly? i have to find some use for it after i PRESS THAT LEFT BUTTON AND GREEN BUTTON QUICKLY ON SKILL SELECTION, BUT THE GAME STILL SPAZZES OUT AND GIVES ME WHATEVER SKILL IS ON TOP ANYWAY. since i do assault a whole lot, this usually leaves me with fly. gunners have it easier since deploy is on top and not grapple (id lmao at gunners otherwise)

anyone else have this problem where you select a skill and press "a" quickly, but it lags back to the skill the screen opened on and chooses that instead? its like you move the cursor on bomb from fly, press a, then the game drags it back to fly, and upgrades that like it was what you highlighted and selected instead. i should report it in glitches...

Yeah, that's happened to me. Not much anymore, but it happens.

While we're listing issues, that juice glitch is REALLY annoying. Like..... really. I'd like the Assassin that two Rock-it turrents, a Laser Blazor, a Firebase, and about half my team focusing on to DIE.

TIP: grapple her repetedly, freeze-bomb her, while shes grappled fire repetedly before shes ungrappled (can the health still recover during a grapple? i have still been able to kill juiced enemies while they are grappled recently)

but generally just waste her time until shes no longer juiced, then waste her life lmao

Oh trust me, I try. I'm always the suicidal guy rushing out to give the glowing Assassin a hug. But, if they don't DIE because their health regenerates......

    Y'know?

I hardly ever put my Assault on lvl 3 passive or bomb, I've never noticed or cared about when I shoot purple and the bomb is just for jumping fun!

but making the enemy bomb jump sometimes is fun too. especially when they land with less grace than you and/or jump in more pieces than you lol

I only play 3 classes, but i'll just type out the support since i don't have much time.

    Support
From the start: Hack 2 & Airstrike 2
Reasons: I try to play an offensive Support, i try to get to their base asap, put my firebase down overlooking their base, hack it and use my 2 airstrikes to blow up the Rocket Turret. This obviously only works if i do not get any opposition or you can shotty away your opposition.
I take Hack 2 before Firebase 2 because this way, once i get $150 i have a 2/2 firebase. If i buy the firebase 2 first, then the hack 2, i have a 2/1 firebase, since the hack does not automatically upgrade.
After Firebase 2 i get Airstrike 3, they can be used to destroy turrets as well as randomly tossed into their base for random kills (which happens a lot). Hack 3 is about the last thing i buy before i go for juices.
For a defensive support i can imagine this does not work out.

I'm more of an ejector and make you land on my bomb guy. Really wish I recorded it.

Ive started going for sword first, but cloak is always next

    lvl one cloak is garbage

I think the difference is since I use tactical I tend to toggle my cloak on and off mid combat
Idk how you can stand cloak1, it runs out super fast, turrets can see through it, and if you get caught off guard by a hacked lazerblazer or firebase it will kill you before cloak fully engages

Not to mention one stray bullet lights you up like a christmas tree for several seconds

Assassin: passive all the way to three, then everything else to two. usually start at smoke bombs. the others are really not a concern but i like to have them there just because i feel they make a good money to skill ratio. rarely play this class anymore. especially post patch.

Assault:lately its charge 2, passive 2, bomb2, charge 3, passive. late game i may go to bomb3 and hardly ever upgrade fly. only if i am on a roll and for whatever reason don't need to buy juice.

gunner: passive three as fast as possible, then slam 3. maybe grapple two, but i never deploy, hardly ever even juiced on a ball. level one is good enough. buy juice late game.

Sniper: passive 2 and flak 2 out the gate, grapple two, passive 3, flak three. no traps. maybe grapple three if i can make money fast, otherwise, i wait for the annihilator. dont play this much anymore.

Support: never got any good at crossfire with the support but i usually go passive 2, hack 2, airstrike2, firebase 2, hack 3, firebase 3, and then airstrike 3. but usually if i play as the support, i'm not helping out much and im just kinda running around trying to practice. skills are slow with that class for me.

tank: product grenade all the way to 3 as soon as possible, passive 2, charge 2, deploy 2(for the health regen), then usually i just play for juice and maybe buy charge 3 later in the game.

    Skills I never buy:
    Grapple (Gunner)
    Deploy (tank)
    Smoke Bomb
    Fly
I buy Gunner deploy sometimes, if I get bored and wanna set up shop.

As far as people saying the tank deploy isn't that useful, I would have to disagree. I usually get it after maxing out grenades and getting level 2 charge. It drastically increases health regeneration, so I will just duck out of the action, deploy for 3-5 seconds to get full health and then head back into the fray.

When I play 'sin, I go Passive 2 cloak 2, passive 3 cloak 3 (and afterwards sprint or juice), because crit shurikens = godmode.
