Dont expect this game to go free to play, thats what SMNC is there for. However I do agree that this game shouldnt be sold for $10 since no one plays it anymore. Lower it to $5 or just remove it from steam.

Should absolutely be free. Like you said, it's all third-party servers anyway. So what cost is it to Uber anymore? MNC won't compete with SMNC. Totally different games. And hell, maybe MNC makes a mini resurgence if it's free...and then they could throw some freemium stuff into MNC too.
Tbh they should just pull it from Steam if they're not going to support it further. Or at least it's been like... 10? months or so since I've heard any notable updates to it. And that was only adding in Summer gear during the Steam Summer stuff. I was really kind of annoyed when I saw that MNC was suddenly dying back then and there was pretty much 0 news about it outside of uberent's website :/
If you want to support uber get it. However I'm one of the very fiew people that still regularly play this game. So its really upto you.
