Just watched the vid. Holy hell, those asteroid battles look pretty damn intense. A friend of mine is already downloading it. Here's to hoping he has fun!
This disappoints me, this means not everyone at uber is working on SMNC Also, uber really needs to work on it's advertising, I would have never known this existed. Why make a game then have it buried in steam..or is it just me being oblivious? :3
Next time try to READ. R E A D. Uber is PUBLISHING Moon Breakers, not developing it. Imba Entertainment is developing it. READING.
Played it, and it was awesome. The only disappointing part is that whenever we play capture the flag, the winner is determined by whoever's team had the person who bought a sidewinder. Neither of the free fighters have any way to stop them either than hoping to dps them to death before they zoom out of range.
Been playing this a bit. Feels like Pay 2 Win. Latency issues all over the place. Like the idea on paper though. Its basically 3D Altitude in space.
The ships are STUPIDLY expensive with in-game credits and I really wish I could get a heavy fighter without grinding for a month or more, but it is indeed a fun little game. Even better, you can install it on Google Chrome (and still log in with Steam/your Uber account; they both remember your account), allowing you to play it on any computer that has Chrome, even Macs. I just wish it had an option for fullscreen. I set my taskbar to auto-hide when I play so I can see my health meter. Also, dat laser cannon. Edit: Just finished a CTF game where I shot four guys off the tail of our flagrunner. feelsgoodman
I played some last night. It's pretty fun. It's currently lacking much depth, it's just a space combat type deal, but what IS done is well done. the graphics are pretty, it's really small in the file size department (downloaded and started playing in under 10 min). Adding PvE, and other MMO'ish things to it would make it epic. Being able to set up scenarios to battle in.. mmmm... It is really well done with the controls, simple, easy to use, yet very unique and innovative.
Hmpf I just downloaded it via STEAM, but I can't get the game started. I get only the message "No server regions servicing this build please update to the last client version.... but where can I' get that?
You're not missing much, game is awful. Nothing more aggravating than flying a ship in space with a mouse.
I guess we know why they're called Imba entertainment. Really hope I was the first to make that joke.
