Review of some top 500 players I've seen

people in parties farm kills because thats the only way to make the game last longer than 5 minutes...i get stuck in those games all the time and still don't rage quit but i always like a challenge.

Despite being familiar with many of those names form this forum, I very rarely (if ever) see you guys in matches I play in.

I'm in Australia, which accounts for a large part of it for sure, but I would have thought I would have stumbled across one or two of you guys more often My GT is my username, so do feel free to add me, if you need a very team oriented bot farming Tank

I played a game the other night against a party of 99's, who all played as Assassin's, and they roflstomped my pub team in around 3 mins with grmelin spam and some pretty swift team action. I topped my team with a 2-1-4ish score, and something like $900 :lol:

LOL excuses.

It may or may not have been us. Our new favorite pastime seems to be all rolling a single class (Usually Assassin, Sniper or Tank) and going for nothing but melee kills and grapples (to hold them in place for the melee kills).

Practicing for next week's competition and the forthcoming melee kill protags that BETTER be in future DLC.

Since we are gossiping about players in here, does anyone know anything about "A Patch of Blue?" He's on my friend list, and i've played against him a handful of times (weeks ago, before I started paying attention to specific players), but I could not tell you anything about the guy.

Although Hudson did correct you, I find it funny that you remembered me for my Gunner. The only reason I'm efficient with him is because he was the first class I ran with. You probably remember me tearing through Ammo Mule with multiple Juices, as that is normally the only map I play Gunner on. :mrgreen:

i noticed you hacked shaved ice turrets. does that really help? i thought it didn't do anything

I've been going less offensive lately, because there are times where I recognize someone on the other team and thought goddamnit... if we leave this alone, this shxt's gonna get tore up.

And hacking Shaveices increases the area of effect, and (I think) the speed at which the enemy moves. There's no escaping the firebase! :twisted:

I don't really want to stroke your ego, Peachy, but I have to take my hat off to you and say I had the single most gruelling and demoralising defeat at the hands of you and your teammates last night. Followed by a few more I WAS dealing with lag, tiredness and my old man reflexes, but holy cr*p you are a NIGHTMARE to face when you play assault (and you were pretty unstoppable as tank and assassin too) I breathed a sigh of relief when we were switched to the same team after a few (very ugly) matches. I think you ended one match 60-?-1 and over $8000. *through gritted teeth* well played

I keep looking for Hudson but I never get to play him. I do find many of his playstyle disciples....

Honestly the two best gunners I have seen were not even ranked.

As for highest kills in a game, I did pull off 66 7 10 in a handicap 3 on 6 game. We ended the game with about 2-3 minutes left before overtime. We weren't farming kills; they just kept killing our bots and no one joined the entire time.

The last person I want to see on the enemy team is Patch.

Em, my little brother played with MC Shamnus (!?) and sent a series of "lol i taut u wer supposd 2 be gud???" messages to him. I may have played with PeachyPony a few times - goddamn shotgun, I'm going to wait 'till my broadband gets faster before going up against you again.

I haven't played in about a month due to Halo Reach(at least for the first week) and time constraints. But back when I was playing regular, I dreaded the games when A Mad Hippie was on the other team. Best Assassin I had ever seen.

It was cool seeing our bases loaded with hacked lvl 2 and 3 turrets all the time. I can't imagine how many juice runs it would take to bring down that defense. I noticed you lined the center bot lane on lazerazor with shaveices, do people in that lower enclosed hallway get affected by it? That seems like a good place to put a fire base if you angle it to cover that hallway and center bot lane.

Not at all man, I recognized you as well from the forums and i'm glad you stuck around to when you were on our team. Gunners are just extremely easy kills for juiced assault players :| .

You play tank a lot, right? I've seen you a handful of times as well. Are you from the UK? I have a strange sleep schedule and I end up playing with a lot of UK guys.

Added you as a friend i think and btw i got my 2500 mini gun kills so I will rarely play gunner anymore. I'm going for the 2500 shotgun kills right now. Keep your ammo cool.

I think I've only played with a handful of people from these forums, lol. Granted I only play once or twice a week now in hopes that the patch has come out. Though it's pretty funny to me that I'm still in the top 300 even after I've nearly completely stopped playing (and never really cared about leaderboards in the first place.) :lol:

Sadly, people in the hallway are not affected by Shaveices. I normally place Shaveices and Longshots there as to counter the all-too-lovely wall-hacking exploit. It's a lot easier to hack back turrents that aren't shooting you. Also, that placement you saw in our base works fairly well to keep bots out, and anything that manages to barely slip by the firebase is then easily killed the following Rock-it. I've been considering moving it to the hallway though, to see how effective it would be on directing bot/Pro traffic near and under there.

some guy this morning told me to stop being a try hard after he got 25 kills and 2 deaths, and i went 10-0-1

also i played with Peachy Pony and i have to say...ur a douche bag, im sorry bro u just are. ANNNNND you followed me to 3 different lobbies, i literally quit a lobby went to another and u showed up right after every time...
