Lets just say i use smoke bomb like you use product grenade, not against pros though, i will if say a sniper's making his way to grapple me, he'll assume i jumped away where i'm actually behind him stabbing him, it's also opened up a few melee kills for me :D

super turbo remix was a bit faster and had nice reworks if thats what you mean. not that I played hyper fighting really much at all, but sthdr did have classic mode so I could check out all the old silly combos you could do. I never bought CE either. I was tempted to.

    Also Tiger.Tiger.Tiger.Tiger.Tiger Uppahcut.

Unless your exploiting something with your class or playing a sniper on steel peel, I dont think you have to give a crap honestly.

LOL.... so dbowiLL and his crew are known around the block? I sat in on a few games hoping we could get a decent team going but it was like a revolving door... I don't think we ever had more than 3 on our team at a time. I finally backed out after he kept talking himself up on how awesome he was.

And just so this post has some relevance to the topic... what's so noobish about being a snipe on peel? (assuming you don't stay in your base the whole match) I usually wait and let my team pick first and just fill in the blanks with whatever we need, but I've got no problem being a sniper on steel peel, especially if they have one or two on the other team.

    This is somehow...Different?

I do this all the time. I thought it was fairly standard.

I was just denoting the original, because there have been so many variants since. I've played most of them, though certainly not all. SS2HDR is hella fun, though I'm way out of practice.

There are certain methods that piss me off, but for the most part, MNC has fairly balanced strategies. It's MOSTLY things like standing on top of the spawn that piss me off. I'm similarly seeing more spawn trapping, and that's also bull. But mostly? I don't care eithah.

Clarify, because I'm really hoping you're not saying what I think you're saying.

you have the ability to shut down every door with a maxed out skill. saying "go out another door" doesnt apply when you can throw/plant 3 intimidating effects to make you not want to step out.

if not, whats being said is, you have 3 airstrikes, destroy the traps and stop complaining.
[which is most likely this one.]

You may or may not be a noon, but Dbowill is a complete noob. He'd like everyone to think he's legitimate but he's not. Play him and you'll see that he's just average and the rest of his score is from boosting. Sadly he's the best member of his little booster squad.

When is picking a class noobish? Anytime you pick a class that is already represented twice, you are probably making a huge mistake. Some classes should never be picked more than once depending on the map (I feel that the assassin falls into this bracket). Then again some of the random people you will encounter are more like a bot than a pro and they may as well be running around in a round 100 blackjack skin from blitz.

Now this might sound rather stupid but just listen for a moment before you think I'm crazy. Sometimes it is well worth a few deaths to rush out and fight the same person over and over again (only to lose). If you can't beat someone, you can always distract him so a team member can attack him from behind. If someone on the enemy team is headhunting you can throw yourself at them to keep them off your turrets. I've seen people run into my shots as I was about to kill a turret while a support healed it. K/D ratios really don't matter and it all boils down to what do I need to do to win (without cheating).

Well it's not first of all. Second of all, it would give the game much more exposure and the top players would have a chance to earn cash in addition to the fun and competition. It might give some skeptics a little more incentive to play competitively as well.
On topic, nothing is nooby, but some classes are easier. It's pretty hard to play badly as an assassin, sniper, or assault. Even if your team is bad, you can still shine individually. Tanks, gunners, and supports need a little help from their team, but can be unstoppable in the right hands.

Yeah, those were more or less the options going on in my head. Which is why I asked for clarification in the first place.

OMG. I just looked down. It's hard to play badly as an assassin. LOL! Given the number of bad Assassins out there, it's pretty clear it is relatively simple to play a bad one. I know the board logic is "you're doing it wrong," but there are a lot of Assassin players who are "doing it wrong," which still flies in the face of the logic that it's hard to play them badly.

but dashing angrily at someone while cloaked and mashing grapple is what I do best.

There REALLY are too many assassins to go around most of them arent doing so hot. I really would have imagined they would get frustrated and pick another class to try, but I guess that hasnt kicked in.

In fairness, it's really fun to dash angrily at someone while cloaked and mashing grapple.

But yeah, I am surprised they stick with it. I'm not brilliant with Assassin, but I get a ton of kills just from Assassins who are cloaked, dash at me and try and face stab me. Better yet, since they don't usually have armour, I can face stab them first and kill them. I mean, a face stab isn't the best option, but if they're going to offer themselves up to me....

There's a bit of a shift, though. I'm seeing other classes gaining more prominence, so maybe they are finally getting frustrated. Still, it certainly flies in the face of Shammas' claims.

Well i have had 3 supports throw their firebases into our spawn literally into it through the shields so we couldn't get or live since they were level 3 hacked with level 3

I see a weight towards assassins in some games, but not to the level that I see people complain about all the time. I'm usually the only one, or one of two. Maybe I've been lucky. Sometimes a third pops up, and I feel compelled to switch. However, I'm honestly not sure how much good it does for me to switch from a class I know to one I really don't, but I try my best.

ALL the classes can be played poorly, and quite easily. Assassins show it by having little money on the scoreboard at the end of the game. Killing bots alone should put you in the middle of the board, at least. Snipers show it by having relatively few kills and few deaths from a match spent firing wildly at anyone who comes into view from a campsite on a platform covered in ice traps. Steel Peel is infamous for it, but LazeRazor can be just as bad. My favorite so far was the Sniper who jumped down to the ledge (shown in this video) and stayed there for the entire match. It would've been easy to root him out if the Assaults and Gunners on my team weren't too busy being l33t to lob some grenades/mortars at him.

Anyway, classes get reputations for being the go-to class for new players, but I don't think there are noob classes, at least not in MNC. Just cheap tactics. But someone who is actually trying will do better every time.

i usually play with a team, so if there is two assassins, it's me and hudson or me and bolt, which i'm not complaining about at all

I see Assassins a lot. Te question is who is typical, and maybe neither of us are. The frustrating thing is waiting for 30 seconds, only to have nobody pick. I pick Assassin, because I want all her tags. Three other people pick Assassin after I'm already in game.

This is why playing with teams is much better. If there's doubt, you ask. And because the folks partying on here have mics, you get real answers, so you can coordinate.

Still, I'm better with Assassin than most of the other classes, so it's my "clutch" class right now. I can play anything but sniper well, just not as well as I can play Support or Assassin.

This works to my advagtage, though. My team may have bad Assassins, but usually the other team does too. So I get front grappled by Assassins with no Armour who expect me to have none, too. Survive, return the favour, taunt. Or they'll grapple me next to my firebase, and wonder why they die. Or they'll charge me from the front and wonder how I knew to slam them.

Youre not a noob, It is the same in EVERY game that has multiplayer in it. People get killed a lot by the same guy/class etc etc...it MUST be that the class is either A: to powerful or B: it is a noob class. It's a crutch word used by most people who dont like losing and need an excuse as to why they are getting killed or suck.

That's exploiting and should be reported to the devs. There's a couple devs to report that stuff to.
