The last thing in the "Announcements" sections was, "Release date is August 11, 2010 on Xbox Live Arcade for 1200 points". The last dev blog was back in August. The last time Uber posted on their facebook page was early September. The last time they uploaded something on their Youtube Channel was back in early August. Updating any of these does not costs a dime. They're free and easy ways to keep the fanbase interested, entertained and just remind them that Monday Night Combat does indeed still exist while potentially gaining the interest of new players. They're at least still using their forums and twitter, but thats really no excuse for ignoring everything else. My point is, I think in order to really maintain interest in Monday Night Combat Uber really needs to keep fans updated on all fronts. It's kinda been killing me to see all these sections of the website collect dust when it really shouldn't be so difficult to type up some simple updates. So what if there hasn't been any big official news? Thats what the community is for. Theres fan created videos out there on youtube that can be brought to the attention of the masses, playdates that can be arranged.
Only in comparison to other devs. TC is completely correct, although Ubers communication with us via forums is excellent, internet forums aren't exactly the best tools for publicity, savvy? Though I'm betting they are waiting just as impatiently as us for fucktarded M$ to releash the patch so they have news worth sharing.
It would be nice if they updated something besides random posts on the forum every once in a while. I sorta lost interest in the game because it sorta got stale after a while, and they haven't been saying anything about the DLC.
I haven't played a match since Reach came out. I played the living crap out of MNC. Got to like level 66 and over all, it's my most played arcade game and one of my most played games in general. I have every intention to play again once either the update or DLC comes out.
I have been playing sold every day since release but going to lay off it till the patch/dlc comes out. the glitches and lack of maps are starting to get on my nerves ( I ate steel peel and it broke my teeth) lets hope its out before Christmas ='p
