Imagine you have a barn that is an equilateral triangle, each side measuring 40 feet.
Now imagine you attach a goat to a leash, and the leash is attached to one corner of the barn.

How much grazing area does the goat have?

I messed up the blue by accident, the actual equation is: 107.16/360 * pi * 50 * 50
    Also ignore purple.

    Final Answer: 24,460ft squared

It means the lines are equal. Basically, a triangle with 3 60 degree angles and equivalent sides.

A regulation farm tether for mid-sized livestock is 90 feet.
You could also solve the problem in terms of L where L is the length of the leash.
