lol, you should give the trial a go, it's pretty fun. The free server has been a great success. I posted it on a few different sites and so far we've had people coming and going all day. It's only been up for 24 hours and we've had a ton of stuff built.
I've had some guys from the UK on and they said the connection was good. I really couldn't tell you with certainty though whether nor not you would lag.
Probably. Expect lag. You might want to stay away from spiders and skeletons. Pillar up 3 blocks to fight creepers if possible. Watch out when you are mining or cutting down trees, blocks might suddenly reappear and suffocate you. Get a bow, try not to rely on your sword. Those are just some general guidelines from my experience on laggy servers for the PC version.
