Today I went to the book store before I got the train home as I usually do, looking for that one bookazine (Aparantly that's a thing) that I've been looking for for a while now. I finally found it! I got to the till, debit card ready and everything expecting the full, 14.99 price tag. Instead he scanned it through, looked shocked, talked to his co-workers and eventually turned and said "Well, we were supposed to take it off the shelves and fix the problem with the barcaode. But I've scanned it through so you can have it for the price it scans at" The price turned out to be 1p.....1 penny for that bookazine I've been after for aaages! Awesome! Anyone else had any fantastic deals like this lately?
I've been playing this great game call Super Monday Night Combat and I didn't even have to pay for it.
For those who want the vital information: I did not swipe my debit card for a penny, no. I was tempted to but I had about 4.50 change on me at the time ;D
