How is Custom Class gonna work?

I know the peeps here have heard me say this a bunch of times...

I've spent 6 years working on RTS games, been involved in the balance of most of them... this is nothing. Balancing 6 classes is nothing compared to 311 units.

yeah, but those 311 units don't have aimbots

I thought that meant that the skill wasn't named yet, Didn't realize it was a bug.

I didn't balance FA... I was only minorly involved in that project, I was working on Demigod at the time.

What do endorsements do you for you exactly? How do you obtain them?

Also, I was reading a little bit in the gametype info. section. Is Blitz the only gametype where you can go in with your friends?

Endorsements give you boosts. The Ammo Mule commercial is pretty accurate about depicting what it does. If you take Ammo Mule as one of your endorsements, all of your weapons will have bigger clips on them.

Blitz is a cooperative game you can play with your friends. Crossfire is competitive but you can still party up with friends and go in together.

Will we be able to rename each custom class or will they always be called "Custom Class 1", "Custom Class 2", etc?

So, do the upgrades you put into your skills carry over into other games, or are they reset after a match and you upgrade them all over again in every game?

Skills you invest in are class specific. That means, if you fully upgrade the red skill of the Sniper and switch to Support for the first time, your red skill will be at level 1. However, they are persistent through death and class change. If you were to change back to Sniper from Support in the same match, your red skill would still be at level 3 for the Sniper. Skill upgrades are not permanent though. They do reset for each match.

Not a big deal by any means. I never really used this feature on MW2 either cuz I didn't want to take the time to rename it or once I did I usually changed the class to something completely different. I asked simply out of curiosity. Thanks for the response tho!

You'll see an image of a Pro and Endorsements for each Custom Class. So even though you can't rename them, there's information next to the name that will remind you about what's custom for that class.
