Class Issues

    Okey, in this topic im going to just mention a few points about Assault, Assassin and Sniper which need some work.

    Ok, I'll start with Assault: Pretty simple; make that assault rifle have a longer range. I hate it when a target is a bit further away, like 20-30m from you and damage is so minimal and when it goes a bit more further, there's no damage at all.

    Next one is Assassin, which has alot problems imo: First off all is assassination. What the f*ck is the idea with "assassination" when it doesn't kill the enemy? I think it should be changed that at level 3 katana, assassination will kill any target with one-shot, even if they have GobiNumb. I have no chances against a player who doesn't die from my assassination because melee fails at that point. It's assassination hey cmon, that should seriously kill.
    Then this issue when you are trying to assassinate someone but it doesn't grab the enemy. Known issue yea, but other games have abilities similar to this and tho there's lag, they work properly, but this doesn't. You have zero chances against a player who just spins and jumps around, try to melee = instant death to you and assassination doesn't work because of "lag".

    And last, Sniper: Frost trap needs to be able to be disabled by somehow else than nades. It annoys when snipers put 3 traps around them and camp there. You can't seriously do anything to them as i.e. assassin, you'll always get trapped and either killed by headshot or grapple.
    Then this OP discussion. Do players seriously think sniper is OP? WTF? Never had an "OP moment" when playing as sniper. More likely I get f*ckin frustrated when I try to shoot someone from side when they move forward. Result is after emptying a clip = maybe 1 or 2 hits. I don't know where to shoot seriously. Either hitboxes are where the enemy is or they come alot after the enemy. This might be a lag issue, but in many other games sniping works even with a bit of lag.

    I think that's everything I had in mind, for now. Mainly I would like to see changes to assaults weapon and assassins grapple.

    I assume this wasn't grammar lesson? English isn't my main language so there might be some mistakes in spelling, but it should be understandable. So, if you have nothing else to do, I assume you should spend your time teaching in school how to spell correctly.

    Also, learn to read. Every issue you have brought up has been mentioned in at least 3 other threads.

    So what? Atleast these issues should get some attention if they are being mentioned in many other threads.

    They have gotten attention, you should read through the other threads on the front page of the sub forum and discuss them in the threads there.

    Your whole first posts are based on assumptions. Play each class learn there up and downs then come back and see what you think. More knowledge of the game will pretty much cancel everything you just complained about.

    As an Assault play I think the rifles range is just perfect. I can shoot and do decent across platforms and Grenade III.

    The grenade launcher was intended to be assault's long-range tool. The assault rifle is only supposed to be useful for short to mid-range combat, which is where assault is supposed to be fighting anyway. But once you master bouncing grenades, you'll become a one man mortar team.

    Assassin definately has issues, but buffing her grapple won't fix anything. What the assassin needs is a nerf to her grapple and in turn a buff to almost every other aspect of the class. This way, assassins will have other ways to kill enemies so that it's not game over when the grapple misses.

    I agree with ya here. The name Sniper implies that he's a long-range fighter when in reality, he gets his easiest kills at close range.

    I probably get more lunge kills than grapple kills.

    I just hope the patch does not lower the lunge in general, but switch the passive 2 and 3 damage. Currently i never upgrade to level 3.

    That is what SHOULD be done, however I think they are just giving a flat nerf to the dagger and leaving the sword as is, kinda facepalm worthy imo.

    In summary:

    A short to medium range weapon should be effective at short to medium range. Making it effective at long range, too would make it problematic.

    Assassins are frustrating but an insta-kill backstab isn't the answer. That would probably just get more people pissed.

    Sniper traps should be altered, yes.

    I don't think you're considering all angles on the issue of power. Your argument came down to "Snipers aren't OP because I can't aim." Have you tried messing around with the traps? You're aware of camping on them, and that's part of it.
