TRAILER GOTY -- amirite? http://uk.pc.ign.com/articles/122/1224070p1.html Article highlights: -The story is revolved around a war over rare Earth elements with China -David Goyer, script writer for Batman Begins was involved in the story -You play as David Mason, Alex Mason's son -The campaign branches off into multiple storylines -"Strike Force" missions To be honest this might be the COD where I'll jump into the Campaign first. Interesting point to start off the series.
CoD1:UO Amazing CoD2 Amazing CoD3 Mediocre CoD4 Amazing CoD5 Amazing MW2 Trash BO Not amazing MW3 Better then MW2 Worse then BO BO2 Not buying it unless friends force me to. I don't like CoD no more.
COD1/2 were the best and the series slowly degraded when they first introduced vehicles - probably my favorite COD video was Maglio's, it has decent syncing while not making it look like **** (due to over editing, as you see in almost every video today.) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ipFdkgpSXIc
Got to admit, the 2025 thing hit me as odd when I first saw it. But glad to see that Treyarch is stepping up and taking steps to make CoD something other then JUST rehashed S***. Looking at you MW3.
McLovin, im going to be nice, let you watch that video again. Think of the last 2 Treyarch games, and give you the chance to really think about what you just said. Think real hard. Think....Black Ops.....Think MW3.........Think CoD multiplayer. Think what really sells CoD. Now do you think your really going to be driving mechanical weapons around and killing eachother. .........Not a chance Sounds to me like CoD has finally met Terminator. Heres my spoilers alert dude Its the same S*** rehashed, with more RC Cars.
Knowing that series is populated with autists, I'm pretty content. Its like? COD is a nessecary evil to keep the retards from spilling over to other games.
I'm pretty sure it still has the zombies. Really though, I'm actually surprised by everything about the Blops2 trailer. The fact that it's set in the future for one, but the one thing I'm most interested in is that it looks like there will actually be enemy types, and not the "just a dude with a different gun" enemy types, actually different enemies. For the first time I'm intersted in a recent CoD title, and might actually get it if it doesn't suck on PC (it will).
Because Valve sells game engines, not games. Console support is in their best interest as it opens up their engine for further use. Valve games are essentially advertisements to game companies. "Look at what our engine can do!" Portal 2 was created to get the PS3 and Mac better support. Dota 2 is there to give better RTS functionality to the engine. L4D2 was originally going to promote dynamic level systems, but those got cut for some reason. TF2 went F2P to enable other titles with micro transactions to go through Steam. Like you said, companies like money. Valve knows how to make it.
