Different hum/no hum for cloaked allied AZAZNs

    I'm not sure if this has been suggested, but I hate freaking out over every cloak sound when 30% of the time it's an ally and 40% of the time it's both enemy and ally. Can we either not here cloaked allied AZAZNs or here a different sound?

    two diff hum sounds would work

    But it's so fun watching gunners burn a slam/tanks deathblossom because I walked by cloaked!

    Would agree with this, just make it team based sound. So a Iceman cloak will sound diff from a Hotshot. This will also make people memorize the sounds so will have to remember which is for which team.

    wholeheartedly agree.

    especially annoying when there's friendly and enemy assassins around.

    yup, I like this idea too... I dunno how many times I've slammed an assassin teammate haha.... It's just habit to hear that sound and to react to it with either slamming or firing a few shots at her before I realize she's one of our own haha...

    The number of times I've been backstabbed after charging our own Assassin is ridiculous.

    I hope so. In any event, I think it would lower my blood pressure when I play sniper.

    Yeah wigging out looking for the assassin and then going...."-_- oh...nevermind" is a bit of a concern, or at least keep the name above their head for teammates would be equally as useful to me.

    I agree. I'd prefer no hum for allied assassins.

    Sometimes I try to be all considerate and not run around cloaked near my assassiphobic teammates (usually gunners). Or I'll come out of cloak for a second to show my team color, even though allied assassins' shimmer is easier to see and is colored your team color.

    I'm going to go out and DISAGREE with this.

    I'll use Call Of Duty as an analogy:

    What if your allied and enemy footsteps made different sounds? (they can, but it costs a perk slot). It would make the game a LOT easier at the expense of communication skills.

    It makes the game less reliant on communication, and is actually a slight nerf (again) to the assassin.

    She can already been seen and heard while cloaked, I don't think they need to change this even more.

    Its fine as is. It instills a sense of panic and fear, rather than "oh there is an assassin near by, LOL I WIN" which it already pretty much is anyway].
