    Straight-foward question.

I wish I could learn my native tongue (Igbo), but I honestly have no interest in my African heritage. Portuguese, Brazilian and Italian are some of the romance languages I'd love to learn about.

Brazil seems like a country where they embrace their culture the most. Would love to go there. I'd also like to learn German and Japanese as well.

What's up with this fad of wanting to learn Russian all of a sudden?

I think a lot of people should learn English before they attempt other languages.
(Not directed at anyone here, in case anyone was feeling over-sensitive.)

As for me... I think I'd like to learn a bit of Spanish or German. And enough Japanese to play games that aren't brought over here.

ZOoo00OOm, you have got to give it a go... it's awesome. Not easy by any means but even when I say "I can understand a little Japanese but I'm not skilled yet" it sounds impressive.

You mean take Japanese courses or use google translate, because I can only do one of those.

Interesting. I'll check it out... eventually.

My PC isn't exactly in the best shape right now, so I have to watch the programs I install.

Japanese is 10x much difficult than English and Tagalog combined.

That's an impressive list. Are you fluent in them all or just 1 or 2?

I dunno. After hearing japanese people(try to) speak english, I'm inclined to think it's rather difficult to learn the other way around too.

I think it's more likely to be related to your mother tongue. I think being fluent in english would be easier to learn german than japanese due to them coming from the same family of languages. So being japanese and learning english might be just as difficult as being english and learning japanese.

Maybe Pyre could help with some input on this one.
