Since deathblossom will be based on the amount of ammunition left in the clip, does that mean if you have ammo clip-increasing sponsors, such as ammo mule, will you do more damage with a full clip with that, than a regular player without it would have?

    I was just wondering.

It will be based on percentage left in the clip, not the actual amount. That said, you will be able to fire your jetgun more while maintaining higher death spin damage.

Well, you either fire your gun more, or you fire the same amount and get higher spin damage, you don't get both.

I heard tht it's percentage based due to balance issues however I'm sure a dev mentioned being able to use a small amount of ammo (when usin ammo mule as far as I kno) before it'll affect the damage.

Oh so you'll be able to use the extra ammo before it starts effecting the death blossom damage?

So, in other words, if you had 130% ammo from a sponsor bonus, and used 25% of it before a death blossom, it would do 100% death blossom damage? This isn't so bad at all. Not as good as I hoped but good enough for me to think about using it as a sponsor.

    Thanks for the info regardless!

Well, 100% as it stands right now. Having a full clip with the added ammunition would do more than it does currently. Or, this is how I've understood it, my train of thought on this could be wrong, though.

I think the devs have sed they tried to make the extra ammo cause more dmg but it wasn't balanced, so if u have gold ammo, you can use a certain amount of jet fuel without it affecting the blossom damage.

It will do a certain amount of damage with a full clip, then less depending on how much ammo is left in the clip. It will do the same amount of damage with a full clip no matter which endorsement you have. But if you use an endorsement, it will do a higher damage percent. For example, if you have no endorsement and you do a blossom from 75% ammo, it will do the same damage as a guy with a gold endorsement who has 50% left in his clip. It won't do more damage, but you can use more of your clip without sacrificing damage. Also, a post-patch death blossom with full ammo will do more than the current death blossom regardless.

A lot of information in this thread sounds wrong.

Wow, talk about completely misunderstanding. Hmm...let me try to be more clear.

Taking clip size endorsements doesn't increase the damage you will deal with a death spin. Death spin damage is based on the percentage of fuel left in the clip, not the static amount.

This doesn't mean that clip size boosts aren't useful, however. Let's say the Jet Gun normally holds 100 fuel. If you fire 50 fuel and death spin, you'll do a 50% damage death spin. However, let's say with the gold clip size endorsement you can now hold 130 fuel in you Jet Gun. Should you fire 50 fuel and death spin in that situation, you will do a 62% damage death spin (I round up because I'm nice).

In this way, you can shoot more with your Jet Gun and maintain a higher damage death spin if you have an ammo endorsement. That clear?
