My release date guess...

First off, "HAI!" New to the boards and after seeing the game, I'm very interested.

That being said, I've browsed for an "in-stone" release date, and there isnt one. So I have a guess. The Xbox Live Summer of Hits is coming up. Last year we had Shadow Complex, 'Splosion Man, Trials HD, amongst a few others that werent labeled as "Summer of Hits" -- so I expect, seeing how well done this is, how easy it is to "learn", how hard it may be to master ... this will be the next big thing.

Multiplayer, customization, and "levelized skills" are selling points, and I'm anxious to give this a go.

A couple of the devs mentioned they were aiming for August, so if thats when the Hits thing is your guess is probably correct.

In all honesty, getting a release date is a big negotiation between us and Microsoft. That negotiation is still underway. Anything you heard is a complete guess.

Yea, Scathis at PAx you told me you guys were hoping for August, as well as Ekanaut.

If I'm going to put this at a guess, and MS actually gives the game a Summer release (no reason to assume they won't), I would have to say some time between E3 and PAX Prime (which does fall into August).

I, again, have it on good authority that the release date is July 6.

I would actually praise you if you got that spot on.

It'd be a great birthday present, thats for sure. And I have vacation that week, so you can BET I'd have 30 hrs logged in by the end of the weekend.
