If only that show didn't have Kirino, I'd sort of like it. Why did the show have to have an annoying main character and sweet ska music?

I hated her too at first but after watching the ONAs and reading the light novels, I started to appreciate the tsundere character.

Still not a big fan of it though.

I watched that show just because of Kuroneko and the OP theme.

I find it ironic 'cuz most of the "American" remakes of the classic Japanese horror movies were completely and utterly horrific.

The Blackness from the Stars is an immobile blob of living sentient darkness torn from the primal fabric of the cosmos at the center of the universe. It is distinguishable in darkness only as a vaguely shimmering oily pitch. Although intelligent, it speaks no known language and ignores attempts to communicate.

This can be a good manga/anime monster.

It looked funny in a compare/contrast sense, from what I saw in the OVA's it was terribly generic in animu terms.
