What to spend money on/How to spend your career cash?

I'm sure this has been brought up before, but I couldn't find search terms that weren't just way too common.

I guess my question is what to do with all of the money you acquire throughout your MNC career? The first thing most people will do is unlock the custom class slots, of course, but after a point you unlock them all and maybe get 1 or 2 protags that you like, but then from there on out it's all pretty meaningless. You can see how you stack up against your friends and on leaderboards, but that's about it.

Don't get me wrong, I'm fine with it as it is now. I love the game and don't see myself getting burned out so long as the multiplayer scene is around to support decent pub matches, but I think a little bit of a grind can be fun -- giving you something to look forward to and hopefully prolong the experience for the more serious players and keep the scene alive in the long term. Ideally I guess I'd like to spend money on something that didn't affect the game mechanics and add a little bit of "oh-snap! factor" in-game when people see you coming.

Some ideas I'd wishlisted were things like:

• - Unlock new taunt animations
  - Character customization -- nothing so major as to make your class unrecognizable but maybe some different armor, a hat, or purely aesthetic change to your weapon
  - Prestige. Not a new class or upgrade to a class, but like get to level 99, buy prestige, get a new tag, start back at level 1. It's silly but I have a lot of friends who loved the grind of prestiging in MW
  - Unlock additional purchaseable bot types for your load out. This isn't superficial, so it might be a bit unrealistic.

I have a feeling with new dlc new skins and other things to use cash on will become available.

Right, but specifics haven't been announced, hence the suggestions. That's kind of what wishlisting is.

Your post indicated otherwise. It was dismissive, which is what a lot of pointless wishlisting gets, but this is a subforum for that kind of thing.

Tank passive 2
Tank grenade 2
2 Laser blazers
Tank charge 2
Tank passive 3
Upgrade any lasers/low level artillery turrets
Tank charge 3
Tank grenade 3
Tank deploy 2
Upgrade turrets

Then i use any hazzards that are useful along the way

I'd like to cash out my 3 million and go to Vegas with Mickey Cantor.

Id love some character asthetics! weapon choices ala TF 2 would be fun also! maybe even an extra perk slot!

As stated many times before. A BETTER character customization needs to happen. Nothing too appearance changing (need to keep classes recognizable) but misc things like a hunters hat for Sniper, Hardhat for Support ect. Other things like "new weapons" no stat boosts but makes your gun look different but function the same. Plated weapons (gold plated, silver ect). New crosshairs.

Some "Mutators" (ala Unreal Tournament) would be nice. No effect on gameplay though.
-Confetti headshots - sniper headshot spawns ribbons and all from body if killed from headshot.
-"Money Shot" - same as sniper headshot but they have money burst out instead (no dropping off, just visual like money ball explosion only much smaller)
-Mickey Cantor grenade in place of Product Grenade (throws up papers with Cantors sayings and has him yell out a quote that only that player can hear)
-Replaced effects - like adding your character to go on fire with the Juice effect, or to have his body go all chrome (but in color of his team).
-Death Effects - all people who get killed by your shotgun will get HUGE knockback at death (just for laughs - just would be funny to see your teammate go FLYING due to a Shotgun death), burst into flames, get "iced" (just have ice form at legs), get the "dizzy" effect above their head, body shrinks to nothing instead of dissolving, explodes into confetti.
-Misc Effects - like a "Target" appears on enemies frozen by your traps. We all know how to headshot, add a sprite on their face.

All have to be earned and bought.


Last would be a extra 6 custom class slots. However that could break balance. Like I could have 2 Support classes. One that is meant for defensive play and one that has gold armor, higher rate of fire and skill pill (aka offensive). So if we are getting attacked and I die - I switch to defensive. If I die after defending I switch back to offensive and volia I got 2 different supports but each will have their upgrades at level 3.

LOL. I love the "Money Shot." For all the wrong reasons, granted.

Pay to enter into new fun game modes that are kinda like Tournament modes, and just variant game types.

I know what your thinking, why pay for that? Shouldn't it be free? Well, if you win, you get a substantial amount back.

Yeah, lets add gambling! Because all sports have gambling!

And if Mickey Cantor can gamble, why not us?

Thought about this over the weekend, but I'd def throw ten thousand or so towards an unmasked assassin skin as well

I do like the Juice effects, they sound like a good psych out method.
