I do too, but I can't because it is much more effective to put a katana in the enemys face. Of course I'm talking about the shuriken grapple, I really want it to be useful but right now it's pretty useless. Instead of asking for a damage buff I thought of another thing, what about giving the shuriken launcher a separate grapple cooldown? Before you scream "WTFDOUBLEGRAPPLEASS!" just listen to me, what if the shuriken launcher got a separate grapple cooldown but it would still share a global cooldown with the knife/katana grapple of 2-6 seconds? During this time you could slam or charge or fly or counter-grapple or shoot or death-spin or jump around like a retard or whatever you like to do to avoid a second grapple. I don't want this to buff the assassin, I want so I can SLAP PEOPLE TO DEATH! Yes? No? Maybe?
No! The slap is insulting (and if it kills then it's even more insulting) because it's a waste of a stabby grab. If I get sucked into a grudge match with someone, I love doing the face slap as the final word and then never letting them near me again.
I agree, it's lame that grappling with the shurriken launcher does mediocre damage in comparison to the knife/katana's. The only problem I see with this is that Uber would need to make a new grapple animation since people clearly want to see the Assassin slap people with her "lips" as well, I mean hopping up another pro's shoulders is pretty seductive after all.
I never really felt the grapple on the shuriken launcher existed to be anywhere near competitive with the dagger/sword's - it is a ranged weapon compared to a melee weapon, after all. The lulz from slapping someone to death is completely worth it, though.
If they were considering changing animation (Say if you have the extra ammo upgrade) a cool animation would be, jump on their shoulders, and throw like 4-5 shurikens into their chest, then back flip off as they fall to the floor. Idk, maybe it looks cooler in my head lol
