I wanted to make a note to devs requesting that they don't announce pending bug fixes before they are fixed. I'm probably just unlucky, but my last several games have been plagued with pros downing the Moneyball without bots, supports hacking through walls, and dash-exploiting assassins (among other things). While I understand this stuff was spreading throughout the community prior to the blog entry, the existing exploits didn't need to be advertised on your blog.
How else would they comfort the community on what was to come? If MW2 can last as long as it has with glitches and exploits I am sure the MNC community can wait a week or two for the patch.
How can you compare MNC to MW2...? CoD Has a MASSIVE Following We are talking millions, so dont even go there Just a little dig >(MNC is great but why are there simple bugs like host migration fails surly on an online game its the most imporant thing to sort first) He has a Valid point why would you post the exploits to the rest of the players... Its like doing a TuT on how to how super powers in a game. people will try them out. Example i now know i can take the money ball down with out the bots... well hell i am just going to juice up quick and end the game. i had no idea we could do that. but wait thanks to this forum i can now do it. wait i took another look i can hack turrets throw walls dam carnt wait to turn my xbox on... Thats how any person would look at it. dont give the glitchers ammo on your own site. Great game but fail on the connection/hostmigration << they are the most imporant things about an online game.
They don't mention exploits in their upcoming fixes unless they're already widely known and easily found by anyone on the forums, and if they weren't on the list there'd be many more reports of the glitches so you can't just compare the forum as is it is to an imaginary forum that was identical minus the list. No that's not actually how any person would look at it, it is however how anyone who is a complete **** would look at it so congratulations.
These were really widely known. The Devs have mentioned some issues mentioned on here were known but not listed in the "Known Bugs" section to not publicise them.
Yeah I have been seeing more and more assassin run glitchers lately. I know how to do it, but I refuse to have a "crutch" when it's going to go away in a couple weeks. I would rather play the class as it was intended. I sent some d*ckhead a nice message after one game congratulating him on cheating/glitching to win after he single handedly killed our moneyball. Him and his bud were playing sin's and run glitching. I played as a tank to be able to destrominate them... nope... they would run so quickly my whirlybird spin wouldn't even dmg them...and they would just double back grapple me... When I was actually able to kill them, it didn't matter... they met me right back outside the spawn. It was quite annoying... his response was "It's the in game, it's a part of it you big baby...cry more" F*ckin pricks...
Ehh, it's more of an inside joke. Me and my pals call any move that spins a whirlybird. Originated in WoW when paladins got their spinny whirlybird move (been so long, i dont remember what it was called). Not sure what mfw is either.
I thought it was "My ****ing Word," But I could be wrong. I do the same thing with some elements of games, though. I sometimes call the H/H Gun a "Proton Pack," because of the way the stream looks and the like. I don't think I have any other references, except calling the Assassin a Ninja, and that's not even a specific reference.
*whispers* divine storm I didnt know i could hack enemy turrets through a wall till now. And now I know it, the child inside of me who wants to punish the other team for winning last round cant help itself.... Its bad i know, i should have more selef controll! But when it happens to you every oyher game it becomes dog eat dog!
