Support "overpowered" questionnaire

    In an effort to be constructive, here's a questionnaire that people can fill out regarding the support, whether or not there's something overpowered about him, what the specific problem is and how best to fix it.

    Perhaps... but BARELY

    2a. If yes, what do you think is overpowered about the support and why?
    Hacking skill
    Able to get juice with little risk

    3. How would you fix the problems?
    Make it to where hack 3 is as strong as hack 2, but much faster to recharge after use, keep the same hack time though.
    Maybe no getting juice for overhealing his own firebase.
    Those are the only issues I even slightly have.

    Firebase. It has way too many HP and it's RoF is rediculous high.

    Also, able to get juice with little risk

    3. How would you fix the problem(s)?
    Nerf the FB a little.

    4. What's your main class?
    Assassin, although I'm practicing with Support and Assault in anticipation of the assassin's nerfing after the patch.

    Takes no skill to use/easy to get kills


    3. How would you fix the problem(s)?
    When stacked, supports can get loads of kills and lock down an area with little to no skill required. I think that the healing should be reduced so that if any class focus it the support can't outheal that damage. A fully upgraded firebase is also better than most homebase turrets, I don't think that's ok for a turret that can be moved around and doesn't cost that much, I think that either the health or the damage/rof should be reduced.

    After thinking about it, I'd say the core issue is the heal/hurt gun affecting the other facets and the questionnaire is no longer needed for my opinion.

    With pretty much any class, a support healing a hacked turret and his turret healing him back take a lot of effort to route out; especially when he's healing from behind cover.

    Hurt gunning with high speed endorsements is also a contributing factor.

    The firebase just has way too much health, it can be extremely difficult to take out when the support is healing it. However I'm worried that if it becomes too easy to take out, it will end up being useless.

    I'd look at a package of small tweaks to a wide range of things

    I play all of them a lot, except Support and Assault.

    The firebase healing may be a bit much. I've run in circles around it many times tearing people up while getting healed.

    Reduce the effective range of the firebase.

    Airstrikes(how many can be throw in a short time not the damage)

    give the firebase a health and hacked range nerf and it would be fine

    shotgun. make it not do more dps than a tank at jetgun range

    make the cooldown on airstrikes similar to the snipers traps

    Decrease the maximum overheal amount.
    Limit the firebase vision to at most 270 degrees centered on the angle it was deployed, and require a larger amount of clear ground area to place it (no hanging it off a ledge).
    Reduce spammability of airstrikes and/or don't let them one-hit-kill the higher-health classes unless directly stuck to them.
    Require some amount of aim with the hurt gun so that they can't just jump around stealing health without aiming. Remove the ability to stay locked on around corners/through walls (maybe this is just lag?)

    Airstrikes

    Don't allow the Hurt Gun to bend around corners (or track behind them) and force the Support to maintain a visual lock on the target.
    Reduce the Juice gain rate from using the Heal Gun.
    Limit the Support to a single Air Strike with a reduced cooldown and increased radius per level.

    4. What's your main class?
    Gunner or Support if laggy.
    Assassin if not one on team.
    Assault or Sniper if already a Support, Assassin, and Gunner and not laggy.

    Firebase: Decrease Firebase ROF, damage, or health.

    Hurt/Heal gun: Overhealing anything overheats the gun. After overhealing, wait 5-7 seconds to cool off.

    Airstrike: Change upgrading Airstrike to do the following:
    • lvl 1: One Airstrike, decreased range
      lvl 2: Increase range to what it is now
      lvl 3: Increase Airstrike amount to two

    There is nothing wrong with the class, he is pretty balanced. Airstrikes are easy to evade and the firebase is a bit of a glass cannon. You just have to be careful in close range with the shotgun
