Are you tired of watching friendly Supports overhealing their Firebase and eating bacon while you burn to death next to them? Maybe you're a Support who is annoyed at how easy it is to not see injured allies in the confusion of Airstrike-spam and bacon grease? Worry no more! Now, by simply clicking the Left Analogue stick, your need will be broadcast to any and all Supports in your vicinity! I know people accuse this game of ripping its art style from TF2, but screw it, a "Support!" call would be very handy.
Right On! If you are going to rip a game off, go all out and rip the game off. Put in a "Medic!" Button. Perhaps "D-Pad Left + A"
Left stick is the secondary button for the assassin's dash, and it is a very convenient button for dashing.
Make it the "Back" button as it has no use ingame (as far as I know, never push it). Would make for no accidental pushing. Like the idea, although I would make it more of a "Over here!" button. This way it simply isn't a I need health button but rather a come here which can have various uses. Letting team know to attack this side of the base as the turrets are down, let them know a group of enemies are approaching from there, the I need help attacking and of course I need health.
I don't inflict my terribad Assassin skills on team-mates very often, so yeah. Maybe Down + A? Prevents it from being easily spammed. Back button brings up the scoreboard, good for reminding myself of how badly I'm doing. It would be difficult enough to implement a "Support!" button, but a context-sensitive one would be great as well - for example, aiming at a friendly destroyed turret nub and pressing the button would result in a "Defend the Left/Right" command, and highlighting a group of bots or enemy destroyed turret nub would result in a "Attack Left/Right" command. There's a point where you can only say something like "get a mic lolz" though.
Yes, as a support player i would love this! Maybe even an automatic system where if a player has less than half (or even less then full) health you get some kind of hint that he's hurting. I try to keep other players around me healed, but sometimes i am undeliberatly not paying much attention.
No worries It's one of those things you have to instinctively pick up on or you miss it completely. The fact that enemy's health comes up as a bar doesn't help (but does in other ways) because is distracts from the icon for team mates.
