whats with the surviving of the sins grapple moves, if you have armor cool but if not what the hell. not only that how come you can still see sins even when they are cloaked, you don't even need to listen for the humming sound it makes; which is very low because you only hear it when your about to die. another thing how come bots cant be hit with a head shot; from the sniper of course a little lame i think. regular melee is a little useless it would be nice if it did something. it would be pretty sweet if the added a few more maps to.....what are your opinions :?:
uh, the only classes that can survive a back grapple are a Gunner with Gobinumb (Armor 3) and a Tank with Gobinumb, and the Gunner can only survive if it's a dagger. If you were talking about front grapples, then... get behind them. And bots CAN be hit by headshots. Aim for the head on bots with your rifle. It does more damage.
Quit playing a BAD!!! Assassin! Plus LRN2PRESSRB...RB+LT can kill most armor champs if not RB at the end of the grap. Dam, and actually PUSH LANES and BACKDOOR TURRETS!
First I'm not saying that I suck using sins, I have had assualts survive a back grapple before and gunners/tanks with no armor. That small little bulb does alittle more damage but still would not cont it as a headshot.... instant kill. And good sins take out pros; snipers, gunners, tanks and support...not turrets.
I have a few ideas for things that should be changed as well! You only unlock Assassin after playing a certain number of hours. If you constantly face-stab and get ground into a fine powder by the 3 team-mates around your intended victim, your controller jumps up and smacks you in the face and you're forced to play as a Support with naught but a heal gun - no hurting for you, Missy - for an hour. If all else fails, backpedal while firing shruikens. Also, as I said in another thread... People don't play Assassin properly. You aren't a lone wolf - you are the bayonet at the end of rifle with a butt-ton of other attachments on it. You don't run into a base full of turrets to take out a Sniper - you hang around near a battle and wait for an enemy to retreat to cover. You distract attention long enough for a Gunner to waddle into position. You make that airstrike-spamming, firebase-camping Supports' life hell with shruiken spam. And so on. Grapples are risk-reward, and the risk normally outweighs the reward. Also, aiming for the head increases the damage done to all bots, Jackbot included. The head is the part with the lights that turn from green to red and with you I can see a traffic jam, straight up ahead/You're just like (crosstown traffic).
How would you know what good Assassins do? Played against some? Because they are NOT killing pros! Seriously, nobody can trust your opinion "And good sins take out pros; snipers, gunners, tanks and support"..."And good sins take out pros; snipers, gunners, tanks and support"..."And good sins take out pros; snipers, gunners, TANKS and support"...I think we are done here come back when you play your second match.
first of all I'm not limiting to the way you are supposed to play a sin in mnc; all games or even what a sin does in real life the kill people...all I'm saying is that sin's should be able to take on another pro and not have to worry for backup or just running away. "good sin's in mnc run the lanes and take out turrets, doesn't mean they should.
I have Gobinumb on every one of my classes because it's so funny that i can totally eliminate assassins from my list of oh noes. I can hear them from 20 miles away and see them and supports can easily survive a front grab. shot gun.. Goodbye.
You must not be too experienced with the sniper, because headshoting black jacks does significantly more damage than body shots. A head shot takes about 3/4 of a black jack's life while a body shot takes about 1/5.
I dislike insulting people, but i have to break it too you. You, are a newbie assassin. Assassins are one of the best (if not the best) turret killers and bot pushers in the game, you can stealth up to a turret, smoke bomb it so it doesn't fight back, and turn it into sushi. Also a juiced assassin (juice is easy to get) can take out an entire base's turrets in one go not to mention any pros that get in the way. You should be taking out pros as an assassin, but that is hardly the priority. Your biggest priority is to push the lanes and kill the turrets/moneyball, if anyone interferes with your lane, then you kill them. You say your not limiting the way you are supposed to play sins, yet your last post is clearly limiting what any good sins should be doing, and its wrong. As for "good sin's in mnc run the lanes and take out turrets, doesn't mean they should."... My god... You must be the most useless member on your team in crossfire all the time. Listen, the objective of crossfire isn't who can kill the most enemy pros, its who can kill the enemy moneyball. In order for an assassin to actually be usefull to the team, she must be pushing the lanes, summoning bots, buying turrets, using annihilator etc etc etc... Just "killing pros" gives you like what? 25 cash, no juice, a 8 second (ooh biggie) respawn timer for that pro you killed. Meanwhile with the same amount of effort and time you used to chase that pro all the way across the map, you could have killed 3-5 bot waves for roughly 150-300 cash and almost a full juice meter. Assassins can destroy a whole bot wave in one reload slash from behind. Also you can get tons of kills by pushing lanes anyways, as the lanes get closer to the enemy base, more and more pros will come out to defend, while they are distracted, kill them and push to the moneyball.
That might be true but there's no call for, The only way the bloke is going to get better is from practice and looking things up on the internet. No need to be insulting, BUT, T that's pretty much dead on and good advice for any new assassin. My K/D is creeping closer to 1:1 once I started reading the forums and getting some good advice (it was a bit about .500 before hand).
Guess i was a little overly critical. I dunno it must have been something about his attitude while posting that rubbed me the wrong way. And the fact that i hate it when people claim extremely false information to be true. People spreading misinformation really get on my nerves especially when they try to justify it. Besides, i didn't mean the first one to be too insulting (but knew it would be taken as an insult). There is nothing wrong with someone being a newbie, just means your new. Noobie on the other hand, has a different meaning. As for the second line, i apologize, that one is a quite mean. When i get heated up while typing i can get a little nasty... Ah well.
Wow didn't think people would be so negative and closed minded....not saying that when I play crossfire as a sin I run around trying to kill pros of course everyone trys to run lanes; it would be nice to not have to worry if another pro showed up....speaking as if I'm new. Just because I resently signed in to the forum.
I guess we're all sick of Assassins playing the way you seem to. Look up some tutorials, learn to use your shuriken, and only attack wounded enemies. And don't backstab Tanks late in the game, we don't need any more free kills.
Nobody likes Assassins. Other players dont like Assassins because the stereotype is that they never assist with the win, only the Kills. Also because they die by them and dont 'get' the class all that well and hate that they got backstabbed instead of just shot. Other Assassins dont like Assassins because they hate the stereotype that is given to them by other, bad assassins, and also because it's 'their' class and have a lot to say about how much skill it takes to do X or why you're so lame because you don't do Y. Assassins. Hostility. There's no more room for other Peas.
turrets need to be stronger, bases need to be more covered. and get rid of steel peel arena, oh and the gunners accuracy is too much
