Ok so in the video at the part where the blue Assassin cheap kills the orange Assassin when she is changing her weapons, We see four levels. Blue: lvl 1 Yellow: lvl 2 Red: lvl 2 Grey: lvl 3 I was wondering what are each of the lvls, how long will it take to max out each one and will I be able to reset my lvl when I get to max? Is it an advanced lvling system(gaining exp for doing certain things in a round like in MW2)or a standard?(exp depends on just your score at the end of the round) I would like to know this because I find lvling systems in FPSs to be quite fun and I'm the type of person who would reset his lvl shortly after getting to the max because its fun being a noob after being a pro. I think thats all I need to know for now but if the lvls are a secret thats ok I just really want to know if I can reset them.
Well i guess will just to have to wait and see when the game comes out or the devs feel a little generious and let us know(if they have time to spare from makeing a kickass game).
It may be a couple of days for a response, the Uber folk are quite busy atm, and I can neither confirm nor deny anything.
Keep the good work going on over there Uber and also i cant wait to see how leveling works in this game to.
I can neither confirm nor deny I know anything about leveling, but I will tell you you will be able to get a katana as an assassin.
you know what the Mythbusters say, right? Don't try this at home! And if anybody is wondering why they are busy atm: http://www.gdconf.com/
Well MNC is in the distant future, The assassin probably has some genetic enhancements/modifications to give her advanced reflexes and super strength that allow her to deflect bullets. Oh ok then.
I'm actually on the plane on the way back from gdc right now. Once we release more gameplay video we'll talk about the leveling system more. There is actually more than one way to level up in the game.
teamkilling scathis gives bonus xp anyone? it would be great if there was a way to level up that was about helping out the team rather than just 'kill the most guys'... i'm intrigued ;D
lol yeah I've played games where the leveling system is the only thing that keeps you playing to max lvl, Thats why I want to be able to reset it that way it will last forever.
I love those Role Playing Game/First Person Shooter mash-ups. For example, Borderlands and/or Fallout 3. I'd love to see how the levelling up system in this game works. Plus, more than one way to level up? Sounds even better!
