Maplestory? As in nexon/Wizet's maplestory? With cygnus knights, dual blades, legends. etc. This legendary maplestory?

My little brother used to play it. It's like a Korean, less convoluted but more grindy WoW. Not a bad game at all. They really over did it with all these new classes/jobs/whatever they call it though.

Suffering from TF2 syndrome (though I suppose ms was first) in that it was better before all the updates. Art style is good, but doing quests is a pain in the ***. 0/9999 Mushrooms Slain Very little endgame, though what does exist is extremely challenging. Very challenging to reach max level, which is good, I like challenge. I mean like, more than 2k hours to hit cap nowadays, right? I don't recall, haven't followed it. They are deviating too much from the original I think.
I used to play it like 4+ years ago. It was fun until it became pay to win. They forced players to buy gachapon tickets which was this lotto machine and it had high level gear that you could not drop off any monster. Not to mention the money right in the shop for cash, I quit pretty fast at that point(I was level 125)
Lol, gachapon gives some crap that's good and u can find/make. But they're a 1$ a ticket so I like 'em

I used to play it. Played it years ago, then eventually came back the day Wild Hunters came out. Got to level 164 then realized how bad the game was.
