There are a lot of self-esteem to be gained in competition, but the lack of control can easily turn it into arrogance or even violence. Go take a look at sport games on TV, you'll see how personal it'll get. It's probably the same reason why car insurance for teens are so high, because they have yet to develop discipline by themselves and the car accidental rate with an age chart seems to prove it. As corny as it may sound, Spiderman's uncle said, before his death, "Great power comes with great responsibility," is a quote you can have a college class all by itself. Politicians don't just become that corrupted because they were born evil, it's more or less because once they are there, they found out that there is so much power to be had and so much evil deeds they can do, and in the end, they can get away with it.

It's easy to be arrogant and put others down. I can do it too. Who can't? The first thing most people learn in a language is cuss words. The reality of it is just that simple. It's easy to cuss, it's easy to be arrogant, and it's easy to put other down.

And here's a very important topic for you to think about Teapot. I, too, thought about that "it doesn't bother me, so it's okay" mentality about many things. I think it's important to say that just because you aren't effected doesn't mean the others are fine with it.

Imagine yourself riding on a bus and then some evil KDR padding asian got on the next stop and whips out a cigarette, lit it up, and starts puffing it all over the bus (the bus driver doesn't give a crap). Maybe you're fine with the smell of cigarettes and you don't care, but the other passengers may or may not be.

You've stated that you don't find playing pubs fun. It's the same reason to many other players here when they have heard and tried about private matches; they don't find privates fun. At this point, it is the private match players who are smoking cigarettes on a small bus and puffing in everyone's face and when someone objects, and the smokers are using rude ways to brush them aside.

When was the last time you've ever heard me say "you suck" or "why don't you just take a hammer, bash your monitor, and throw it out the window with along yourself after posting all your credit card numbers on Uberent Forum?" When was the last time you've heard me say "I'm the greatest player ever" or "I'm so good at video games that I got a supermodel girlfriend with D cups?"

I'm the master of the universe for a reason, not because I'm a jerk and brag about I am so good, but because I think, and I have much to me than just being a sexy asian who is apparently able to put his own dog into a comatose state with his long-fingernailed hands.
