Uber Entertainment = Next Bungie ?

I love the people here who try and force their opinions on people without any facts to back it up.

If there's one thing that's perfect around here, it's the community interaction.

I really hope Uber doesn't end up anything like Bungie. They created possibly the best console shooter ever with the origional Halo which built a large fan base. From then on their motive was no longer to create a fun balanced game but a cash cow that appeals to all audiences. While I can't blame them for that the quality of the games suffered. Instead of focusing on one thing and doing that one thing really well, they wanted to put a bunch of new and "fun" things in the game which took away from the overall quality. The selfish side of me hopes that Uber will achieve only moderate success while still creating great games.

then tell a different story with a different game.....why keep bleeding out halo i think the story has well and truly been told thats all im saying and until bungie start stepping away from halo and into something else i wont really play there games.

I think Uber is a lot like Bungie in the way that they actually care about their games and are very active in the community. I wish you guys the best of luck. What a killer first title too!

Bungie was locked into a contract with Microsoft to make Halo games until microsoft decided they were finished. Bungie recently bought their own company back, gave Microsoft control over Halo, and signed a 10 year deal with Activision. Reach was always going to be their last Halo game. 343 studios are taking over on Halo after Reach comes out.

You know what gives DEVs the edge ones that interact with the community - Bioware does it constantly and bethesda did it was Fallout - they listen and in turn maybe they will be the Lebron James of Devs for the 360 and take Halos throne with whatever else they create

But I want a company to innovate do something different that changes the FPS genre forever maybe UBER will do that and not stay in the same mold as others.
