Turrets and Assassin Cloak

I'm sure this is a lag issue, but it seems to happen just about every match, and even private matches that i host. But a few times running around in the other teams base. If your un-cloaked and the turret starts to shoot you, you cloak, but a few times the turrets continue to shoot, even though your cloaked, and not just one shot, ive had 3, maybe 4 shots hit me from a single turret after the fact of being cloaked?

cloaking is only instant at level 3

Erm... if you cloak while you're taking damage, you're a bright outline, so the turrets can still see you.

Or at least that's what I'd assume.

I feel its the damage lighting you up the turret sees.
How ever, when I play a Support and get grappled by an Assassin (really any class) and I am in my base the Assassin can stay cloaked during and still be while they run away. No turret shoots at them. Is this a lag issue or have people figured out how to cloak as they are grappling?

Grappling takes you out of cloak just like using either of your weapons. You can hit cloak in mid-grapple though and it will begin engaging.

This is one way for an assassin not to get killed by a support's firebase (the other being to throw down a smoke bomb immediately after the grapple and then either leap to safety or just hack away at the poor stunned firebase until it blows up)

I woulde thought that this is a combination of projectiles that have already left the turret and the fact that u don't cloak instantly without cloak 3, do the turrets can fire a last one or two shots

A few times i will run through the enemy's base and be cloaked the entire time and level 1 or 2 lazer turrets will shoot at me, never noticed a level 3 do it. but they will shoot at me sometimes even though im cloaked.

Since this is based in a world with more advanced technology turrets may have some form of thermal or acoustic tracking system built in :geek:

Today for a few matches i tried it out to see. I was cloaked standing 5 feet in front of a firebase.. magically it ATTACKED me while i was CLOAKED!!!

You were standing in front of a firebase and can't figure out why it shot you?

Sigh.. please read my statement again.. turrets arn't supposed to shoot you if your Cloaked, which i was Cloaked, 5 feet in front of it, no matter how close i am, turrets are designed not to shoot cloaked assassins..

you dont cloak all the way you cant be completely invis, at that this game is ran allot like dota when it comes to gameplay and in dota all invis chars can be seen by turrets not sure if its the same way in this or not i dont play assassin

Most the time turrets will not shoot at you if your cloaked. They rarely shoot you when your cloaked, but they do sometimes. Its a bug.

I can second bambam's experience myself. It doesn't happen often but it's annoying when it does because it usually gets me killed.

I'll be in the enemy base fully cloaked and with plenty charge left in the meter when a single turret will suddenly spin to face me and send my poor assassin to her grave. It's totally random, unpredictable and downright annoying. I don't even have to necessarily be near them for it to occur either

I know K isn't the big goal in MNC but I've always prided myself in every game for having the lowest death count in a match and these mysterious 'psychic turret' induced fatalities ruin my mood

C'mon Devs... really none of you have addressed this issue.. Please reply.. It gets annoying, Most of the time is just Firebases shooting through my cloak, but regular turrets do it too, not all the time, but a good amount of the time.
