I've seen people with k/d ratios that are relatively poor (nothing insanely bad) but they're on top of their leaderboard for making the most money. For instance, an Assassin on the other team had about 1k more than I had made, however his/her k/d ratio was something like 7 kills to 10 deaths, whereas mine was 17 kills to 7 deaths. I'm sure I'm missing something here.. So what's the best way to make money and get those upgrade (skills or turrets) asap? P.S. I tried doing a search but most of the words I used were deemed "too common" to search for.
Here are a few ways: 1. Killing bots. 2. Taunting after kills. 3. Going on kill streaks. 4. Destroying turrets. That is also in order of importance IMO. Of course destroying the moneyball and hitting bullseye are also important but those are more common sense and not always available.
This is something that I always forget to do.. I need a little reminder whenever I kill someone and it's all clear to taunt. :lol:
You can taunt while juiced too, some pros can make 3 or 400 per juice if you don't plan on using it for anything else. Otherwise, just stay in a lane and wreck bots the whole time.
Tips listed to match Gibbs' excellent list #1: Assault - Grenade Launcher Assassin - Sword (or reload dash while the dagger damage is still too high) Gunner - Mortar (from mid/long range so it splits), Deploy if possible Tank - Death Blossom! Sniper - Rifle with passive skill fully upgraded destroys bot clusters Support - Hurt Gun, Shot Gun, Turret, Airstrike... he's not the fastest but everything works Grapple is a good way on all classes to pick off a pesky black jack or bouncer quickly (unless you're saving it on assassin) #2: Obviously only when it's safe. Getting head shot for taunting does you no good #3: Kill streak is great, but if you can get some taunts in (#2) you will see a 25-75% increase #4: Support (Airstrike) and Gunner (mortar) are the 2 most reliable ways to drop a turret unjuiced. Assassins (smoke bomb )and Tanks (upgraded product bomb) can blind turrets and get close. Snipers can pick them off from a distance and flak nade if close enough. Assault is probably the hardest, but grenade launcher will get the job done if left unchecked. Don't knock killing bots, either. Keeping the enemy bots dead means they're not getting to your money ball or stopping your bots from getting into the enemy base. 1 good tank or Assassin on the team doing this can sometimes make the difference of dropping the ball or not for this reason alone.
