our first match we won 2-0 and they dispute even though they act all cool and mature in game. -_- i didnt expect kids to act like this on this game the same way they act on cod and halo.
so we are 1-0 atm which should be 2-0. :\
hopefully we get our deserved win so we can continue to build or record and get better.

i feel ur pain man. i got the same **** on CoD WAW. bullshit like that is dum. not like GB is MLG its just somthing people look to do if they want to get a little more competitive in there gaming.

I was in GB for a while during L4D's 1st run in GB (Hunting Hunters) And it was good...Then a bunch of MLG wanna be kids ruind it with poor sportsmanship and just being immature, That's why I quit.

Out of curiosity, on what grounds are they disputing your win? And how exactly is all this ennforced? If you don't except their dispute, can you just claim the win? Is there arbitration?

So far I've had one game where some of the players were on a GB team. 2 mins in, muted all their mics, and had a good rest of the game.

Oh, and my team of pickup players beat their "pro" team in about 12 mins.

When a match on GB is disputed, both teams have to send in a ticket to the staff team telling their side of the story, what happened, who won, what rules were broken (if any), and any proof of any potential claim (including who won).

A staff member reviews both tickets, and determines the winner of the match based on the stories told and the proof they provide. 99% of disputes are handled correctly and the team that deserved to win the game is given the win. The other 1% tends to be 2 teams making 2 entirely different claims with no proof given of anything, so the staff member can't make a decision. When that happens, the match remains disputed until one of the teams decide to forfeit the dispute or one team looks to disband (Which requires having no disputes).

Since OP's team has an HD PVR (Capture card), there's a pretty good chance his team will get the win. Assuming they recorded the match and sent in a ticket.

This is why i only play GB if its for money. Otherwise its not worth it.
