"pub gunner" just doesnt feel right.

any noob can use assault and do well. Maybe really well, given the right circumstances
Noob gunners are awful tho. So easy to kill. There's a big gap between noob gunners and experienced gunners.

I don't push real hard anymore. I just establish a position and watch people play. MNC is actually pretty entertaining as a spectator sport. Noobs are funny. It's funny when you pull a tricky move on them and kill them in a humorous manner. It's even more fun to watch from a distance.

"pub assault", "tryhard assassin", are easy to spot and everywhere. I apply the "pub" label to players that avoid direct conflict because they arent very good at it. They make up for its by using exploits and spawn killing. Not that these arent valid playstyles, its just how I view the "pub" version of any class.

For instance, a "pub support" is the jackass leashes his firebase and watches teamates and
turrets around him get mowed down.

I suppose a "pub gunner" could apply to someone who claws their way to a 40-0 k/d, but that actually takes some skill.

Xenonox and F5in couldn't claw but they got sh!t load of kills...

Still don't get why you claw on Assault. Nothing's different.

Its easy to understand.....if you dont claw as a assault you will lose your 1v1 gun fights versus clawing assaults (not factoring if you bomb or get a charge in). Why you say cause the time it takes to take your thumb off your joystick and press the A button then put your aim back on target will cause you to lose the amount of time you have to hit your target till you have to press A again.

i think you shouldnt worry about how other people play. if you want to claw, do it. if not, then dont. dont do i t because chron does it.

I saw Chron slapping the sh!t out of a party of 5 with 3 Assaults lol.

i claw on everything because im just very used to it, and it does have its advantages, but you have to do whats best for you not best for someone else, that applies to everything really. but an assaults best attributes are his aggressiveness, teamwork awareness, and decision making. gunskill and bomb accuracy are a plus obviously, but any assault can go 28-5 and overtime win or lose over a full games time, even in privates. but going say 13-7 in a convincing 5-6 minute win due to your aggression, decision making, and teamwork, now thats impressive
