Anyone receiving $100 for these? Even when taunting before juice runs out it seems to only give $50. Only time I've ever seen +$100 is when the periodic $50 happens during the taunt. Same goes for double+ kills. I'll get a double kill on an airstrike or soldier bomb and only receive $50 for the taunt. Not sure if you're supposed to receive $50/100 per player killed, but I'm pretty sure juiced taunts are supposed to award $100 and there's a tip that mentions receiving more for taunting while juiced. Am I just blind, or is this another bug that snuck through? I try to pay attention to money received for taunts (mostly so I can get a feel for how many seconds after I kill I have to find safety and still receive +$50).
Thats cool that your looking into this but honestly i could care less about taunting while juiced since IMO its a waste of time and it leaves you wayy vunerable to any ***assins.
Yeah I agree, taunt while juiced is a waste of time. When you have juice be useful and take out turrets, the jack bot, or a place where enemies are camping with a fire base.
in blitz i do it every here and there for an easy 200$ with the tanks rail gun taunt being shorter than the jet engine taunt.
I think the money for the taunt is calculated when it finishes, not when it starts. So to get kill taunt money the taunt has to end within 10 seconds of getting the kill and for juice taunt money the taunt has to end while juiced.
I know how taunt works. I've taunted over 1000 kills. Anyway, anyone notice that their only getting $50 for juiced taunts in crossfire?
Taunting while juiced is for if you have to pop your juice to survive, kill the guy, and there isn't much else around. May as well recoup some of that lost juice.
Yea, this. Also good when hitting and running a base. Run in get the quick kills, get to safety and taunt. Buy more juice and repeat. If there's turrets those go first so subsequent runs can end with a juice if there's time. Broken 50 kills many times, but it could be even better if juiced taunts gave $100.
I taunt while juiced if I'm playing a purely defensive support. The extra 300 I can get from a few taunts is great for helping upgrade hacking and making rocket turrets
I only have 750 taunts, but I've taunted during juice before and got 100 for it. It seems each character has a long taunt and a short taunt.... make sure you do the short taunt during juice.
Done many juiced taunts tonight as support and not a single one has given $100. What class did you play that gave $100? Support 100% certain gives $50 for juiced kills. Easy to complete the animation with the quick shotgun taunt.
I was told by a friend that when he taunted while juiced, all his shots were crits, but I haven't tried it myself
I honestly forget about taunts every game. I've actually yet to do one, because I'm always so focused on who else is around me that I tend to forget... Prob would help. you get $50 for taunt right?
Yep, that's correct. When you're juiced, you're supposed to get $100. Can anyone else confirm that they're getting $50 for juiced taunts? I am certain that support's shotgun taunt being completely finished with juice still in the bar only awards $50. If you received $100, what class/weapon? Going to be testing it with other setups just for the sake of testing, but it's rare to pull off a full taunt with juice with any of the long taunts, support shotty taunt is only like 2 seconds so it's easy to fit in after a quick rampage. Also, don't rely on what the protips say, please actually look before you confirm one way or the other. The protips aren't always accurate.
Still looking for input on this. Not a huge deal compared to other bugs, but definitely should be brought to the devs attention if it's not working properly.
You might want to post this (or a link to this) in the bugs and glitches forum at this point, just to see if there is confirmation from the devs one way or the other.
if u taunt while juiced right after killing sum1 u get 50 otherwise u get the 100 so to get the hundred just pop the juice and taunt without killing anyone also if u get 2 taunts off during the juice only the first one gives 100
