It's not that it's hard to do it It's that every other forum I go to uses new tab by default for outside links, so I always forget to do it here. I open a link to a video, watch it, close the tab, then D'OH!
No gaming mouse is even required. Clicking the middle button on your mouse (scroll wheel) will open links in a new tab. Middle clicking a tab also closes that tab.
The OP is obviously new to computers. I heard they have classes down at the night college across town for that.
One thing I never understood though and this is a problem on most forum softwares: What button do you use most to navigate to new posts? This: Why is that button so small? You would think that people who design forum softwares would realize that the most used function is highly underrepresented in their UI...
