You can see what servers are up using this browser-based list. http://vps10217.xlshosting.net/?p=browser It's pretty quiet, but still easy to find games at the moment.
Thanks for the response, Do you think this game is worth buying, so far seeing its ''dead'' . If not i would like to buy the game and join a game with you. I have it on 360
There are servers that have good ping to many areas. Join an empty server and people will join you. The game is worth more than what you will pay for it. The little bits of depth are cool and the humor is great.
Well... There are probably over 100 people playing regularly, but you'll usually only find around 40 playing at any one time. You will find games, but it's got to the point where people know me by name, which I've never had before in an online FPS. I'd still buy it though, seeing as it's quite cheap.
I've come to the conclusion that MNC (PC at least) is dead to the point of talent pools becoming very limited and elitist. The balance curve (even assuming auto-balance actually worked, ey Uber?) is quite contrasted between seasoned players and newbies which sets quite an extreme polarity of win/loss from game to game. I dislike seeing the same names when I hop onto play. Not that I'm not one for community spirit, but essentially playing with the same people from day to day is hardly invigorating. New talent can bring fresh shifts to the metagame which just doesn't happen with the way MNC is geared. Here's hoping SMNC'S Free-2-Play will fill the servers with keen players for a fair few years.
I'd say at this point, it's pretty well dead, I see only one server that is populated at all, and at 150+ ping, I pretty much count that out. Can barely play Sin in 100 ping.
I get 6 or so full servers round here (Atlanta, Georgia). Sin get annoying after 100 ping aye, but sniper just gets better.
