I was the Tank on Hotshots in some new arena. A couple of u were tasked with testing out the new hazards before a crown in some sort of Expo before a small crowd. It was a huge tent high above the ground similar to Uncle Tully's. Mikey came up on the mic: "Its time to introduce the newest hazard, if you liked buzzers you'll certainly like these puppies!" The Gunner began spinning up in nervous anticipation. From several parts on the opposite side of the field giant mechanical bees began approaching us. Their bodies painted over in metalic blue with several lights that flashed red and green as to indicate their intention. "Be carefull out there. You can shoot those things down mid flight but strike them before they lock onto their final destination or else." The assault took que and sot down one while the lights were green before it could get to the hive behind us. The money output was sweet and the tests were going off well intil the Assault thought he could get another shot in. The whole swarm went mad. They revealed stingers filled with all sorts of nasty biological agents. I watched as everyone began to scramble while trying to defend themselves. I was suddenly in control of the assassin. One of the bees malfunctioned and hit a power conduit causing the lights to go out. My "shits about to go down" senses kicked in and I realized I had a chance to escape the arena before things got worse. I looked over the edge and saw that the fall was not that bad. There was sand at the bottom, I could make the jump. The fall was short. I noticed there was a supply truck I could hide under. I heard what happened next. "Dear god their everywh- AHH KILL IT KILL IT" He seemed to be referring to something... else that seems to have sneaked into the arena. Mikey threw something and hit it. "Whatever it was began hissing to which Mikey responded "Oh yeah? Is that all you got? Who you gonna call your mam for me?" With that the whole arena began to shake and a huge olive colored insect queen rose up toppling the arena. I had passed out and had been awoken by the sound of a pick up truck closing in. It stopped. Mikey climbed out and poked me with a stick. "Good your okay. Good thing I always keep one of these on hand" He retrieved an object with the words: [MNC CLONE RETRIEVAL UNIT] printed on it. He threw me in. To my surprise it was just a one size fits all MNC sponsored body bag. I woke up hear a cam fire being poked with a stick again. "You awake? Good." Mickey said. I could see him clearly now. To my surprise he was bald and was dressed with a Hawaiian shirt, shorts and huge sunglasses that covered his face. "Well that's what you get when you build so close to Outlander territory. Bugs. You were pretty lucky." He pointed to my left where the other pros were. They were swolen and almost passed out drooling. The assault got the worst of it and the tanks flace was so swollen it was pressed up againts his suit almost spilling out. "Too far from the regeneration chambers to respawn," he said "but that aint nothing a few regeneration bars wouldn't solve" He threw a few bars at them. "There is some good news. I met up with a few other bug hating folks and we might have a deal. You see our good friends the Outlanders have a similar problem. That bug queen. So we kill their bugs, they give us some room to rebuild." He pointed over the dune to some ruins being built around. My dream started coming to a close as the main theme began playing. Mikey spoke up, "So you ready?" He said throwing a bar at me so fast that it hit me in the face. "Sure you are! Its in your contract HIYOOOOO!" End. I really did not feel like doing anything other than playing MNC that day. Damn college classes.
Now, the real question: What the **** did Mickey Cantor look like to you? Had an MNC dream of my own once (aside from the dreams where I think I'm playing MNC). I was in a training facility as regular Cardboard Tube Samurai along with a dozen or so assassin clones. The area was littered with tiered platforms that moved and targets, allowing us to smoke bomb about and take aim from several angles. Upon reaching the top of this training facility, I stumbled into the managerial hallways. Being the assassin, and sticking to my fluff/lore, I attempted to make my escape. After opening a door, I came across a long walkway that broke off across a large chasm, the only way across being a lunge to one overextending spot of metal and then a sprint-smoke bomb jump to the other side. After that, there were several platforms going down and covered with several lazer arrays. Jumping and timing the arcs of my smoke bombs, I managed to not touch any of the lazers and remained undetected, At the bottom of this passage way was an elevator platform moving up and down next to stylized glass. The square glass windows had large, metal circles jutting a little bit out of them like screwcaps. Using proper timing, I lunge-meleed one of the metal circles and popped it off, giving me an escape hole to jump through the next time the elevator passed by. I, and apparently the other assassins who caught up, then rushed from the facility and into the crowds. Apparently, I was in a futuristic version of Paris, Spance.
Had another one last night. It was at pax. Angry Joe was at the MNC booth. "Angry Joe here with the co-founder of Uberent Talking about Monday Night Combat. So there has been a bit of historic news. Through a deal with Microsoft MNC will be updated on XBLA and in exchange..." The dream ended. I turned on That Guy With the Glasses just now. Angry Joe is at PAX.
