I was going to reply using the words 'twat' and 'motherfuckers' but you managed it without using either...well done.

    Edit: Hmmm...still no swear filter

I'm very hopeful that it's 360 stuff. Even Uber have said that it's pretty big and there'll be a lot to talk about, even to us 360 players. But I wouldn't be so quick to judge, people.

On the subject of swearing, it should be fine since the Tank actually swears in-game and the word Assault has one *** in it.

There are also two Asses in Assassin. . .three if you count her own.

It seems like if they really do have an update for the 360 coming, it would benefit Uber more if they would announce that fact explicitly before PAX, as that info could generate interest for a few days in former players who may have given up the game as abandoned, and then they could reveal the full details.

As it is, I don't know that there are all that many people waiting in suspense anymore. If Uber hopes to keep any interest in the 360 version going (beyond the dozen or so people in this thread), they should give them something to look forward to.

Dude, I'd hate to break it to you but EVERY Xbox 360 player has been waiting in suspense for quite some time now.

PAX definitely seems like the kind of place to announce something for us.

I dont know if suspense is the proper word for this, however waiting would be accurate for a 360 player, and we are only waiting on a SECOND update lol.

Heres the Crossroad, keep supporting PC even though it is outmatched by games like TF2 on steam and losing popularity...
    or
Start working on making the Xbox version shine again, keeping PC updated here and there but putting a main focus back on the larger community. Im sorry, PC was a good idea, but after flopping hard its time to get back in check with the 360 crowd.

Hell even if MNC2 is announced id buy that just to get the assassin fixed. i can care less about anything else, i just want no bugs.

I don't quite understand this concept of "MNC 2" some posters talk about. Would you expect them to create a very similar game in order to reboot market interest, or do you just mean whatever game Uber makes next?

I'd find it REALLY asinine if a MNC 2 was announced this early.

I get that it is possible that the Pax stuff could be non 360 and that would hurt the community big time. I also get that with the way that the gaming industry treats console gamers in general anything could go wrong and there would be definitely no way the 360 could get the necessary bug fixes and content.

On the PC side of things people are not interested it seems. Uber's smallness means that there weren't many starting maps and more maps cannot be developed with speed of bigger class based shooters. MNC is still a good game (barrring moneyball changes and the newest OT rules) but people don't show the enthusiasm to learn just the basics enough to not play it like CoD and therefore not get annoyed when every game is a loss.

The PC side is a damn shame that has to do with competition, player attitude, lack of a solid voice chat and a few of the most recent changes to OT and the MB health sapping it of competative potential. Is it horrible? No. Is it playable? Yes. Is it as fun as before? No.

I suppose it was admirable to try to force teamwork and to foster what little of it there was by having players depend on each other but not only does being a selfish bastard work but it is not as fun doing so.

I'm hoping for some sort of breakthrough with Microsoft. I am also hoping th engine changes will make creation of maps and fixing bugs easier. Along with that I hope that MNC will get some serious publicity and whether on Xbox or PC it is seen as more than an expensive TF2 clone (F2P remember?). Because MNC is funny and fun and I hold the Uber team with some sense of respect.

    TDLR
    >Console gamers get screwed but I trust Uber
    >Bill Gates can suck it
    >PC is in bad shape
    >MNC deserves to suceed
    >Hoping for the best

I hardly even come to the forums anymore because every thread degrades into complaining after five whiny 360 players join the discussion. I understand it's frustrating waiting for promised content but you don't have to bring it up in every thread on the entire forum. Get over it. Console gaming is balls :|. Buy a PC. Win at life.

That made me think about the competition on console and PC. On console, it's a big deal for a small time dev to succeed at anything on the console because it's a beaucoup bucks kind of market. For Uber to succeed on any level on Xbox 360 makes them look unique in the market.

But on PC, there are plenty of success stories of small devs + actual competition of other shooters. MNC isn't a unique game on PC because plenty of other games share the same back story of being from scrappy, small dev groups.

My opinion on the whole thing is: I'm not getting my hopes up. I've resigned myself to a fate similar to Halo 2: I love the damn game and stopped caring about support because it seems like nothing's going to change unless something drastic keeps me from playing it. Like an EMP burst frying my hard drive or a family of rats taking up residence in my Xbox.

Sorry didn't read past page one...

At this point even the slightest news about the 360 version won't matter because frankly it'll be over priced. I am just hoping we don't have to pay $10 for ONE MAP, some skins and balance tweeks.

I understand they have made a few mistakes but giving us a **** DLC pack that cost more then half of the game is like asking someone to scrap piles of dog sh!t and sell them for a $2 a piece.

Lol sunny hate to disagree with you bud. Join the PC community? no thanx, as much as they need more people, im happy with being able to get a full game at all hours, even if that game has some pub stomping groups in it, a full game at 3am or 3pm means the difference.
Calling the 360 crowd whiny isnt even a fair judgement. People feel they shouldnt have to get a PC version. And besides, the PC version is by far not doing that good anyway. Why keep trying to fix a game with duck tape and bubblegum for the PC Elitist crowd.

I have friends over a lot, we all play MNC, we would play MNC if the 2 player was lag free...however since its not, we play other games that have 2 player, or switch off rounds. When you play on PC, you got your back to the room and your sucked into a window, gaming like this doesnt work for me. I need a lagless Xbox version with a good 2 player.
    and
I dont care what Deadstreatch says, 10 bucks is not a lot of money at all, you can blow 10 bucks at 711 or Mcdonalds just as fast as a gas station...If Uber made a $30 version id still buy it....however it needs to be supported more than once every year lol.

Hell Pinball FX or whatever it is has had more updates on Xbox than MNC, same with Magic the Gathering...in fact Magic 2012 just came out and probably will have more updates than MNC lol.

Nobody said get a PC for MNC, I feel that more people should get a PC for every other title out there. You can still do your split screen stuff on your xbox but you shouldn't complain about xbox getting no support from multiplat devs when you haven't given PC gaming an option. That is my opinion.
