Ice, Fire, Other effects stuck on players

Just a heads up for players. Its a bug in the game where say if a tank sets you on fire, or you get iced from a sniper, then it may get stuck on you and could possibly last til you die. Even though the fire isn't doing damage and the ice isn't immobilizing you, it does get stuck on you. Which if your an assassin this can be very annoying, of course if your not an assassin its wonders, lol.

Wondering how often this happens to you guys, happens to me a good amount of the time.

This happens to me all the time. Mostly with the ice. When I respawn it goes away.

only happened to me once as an assassin and basically ended my kill spree altho i did sumhow still sneak up on a couple people

Happens to everyone. The Devs know and are working on it.

Probably fixed in the first patch.

Oh yeah, but i love the fire effect though. Specially when doing a taunt, its hilarious!!

I got the fire version of the bug on my character when the game first game out, I thought I was on fire because of how good I was doing hahaha. A few days later I found out it was just a bug with the effects not wearing off and I was sad :cry:

The fire glitch is the best though, running around as ghost rider destroying people.

Too bad that's it's uber-annoying to have as an Assassin because you become a giant walking "shoot me" sign.

You know its only on client side right? The other team doesn't see you like that.

Are you sure about that? Because I've seen ice clouds walking around.

Could be from an upgraded ShaveIce. Never had those effects last after I have gotten out of their base...fire on the other hand I swear I'm always on fire.

It's not just client side. I've seen other people with it stuck on them. Devs know and are going to fix it soon (I hope).

Eh, must be a 50/50 chance of client or game wide visibility. Either way if they can see me on fire then at least they know their about to die.

We are aware of the permanent effects issue.

When you fix it please set me to permanently on fire client side while I'm an assassin please? I'm so used to it now....

Plus, personally I think it looks badass.

yeah, I'm sure I confuse tanks when I run through their jet streams so I catch fire then smoke bomb away over and over til it glitches.
