turtle beaches are ok... i got the 40$ ones and they broke in a week. I now have the 60 dollar ones which came with a.. *Clears throught* "defective chat cable" (as said by a TB representative whom took my call) and i have to buy a new one or send a copy of my receipt to them. Hell naw i aint buying something that they sent me that DIDNT WORK. 60$ ones are good though! i got mine for 43$ because Best Buy had a sale.

The Dude uses turtle beaches, you could ask him. I thought about buying some just because you can't buy Senns, Trittons, or other good ones at typical stores, but I know they're not high quality so it's hard for me to buy any.

I have the 50 ones an the sound is good but the quality is crap, try a different brand mate, astros are really good.

I have the X41's and haven't had any problems.

I have the X11's(cheapest one), and they are good enough for me, I can hear sensitivepsycho taunting on his spawn ring from my spawn room with them.

But a friend of mine has the X41's, and those things are just overkill, but they are great headsets.

if you have the monney, astro a40 with a mixamp. that or turtle beach px5's (you can manually adjust the levels of specific sounds)

The only real reason to get Astros is if you're going to MLG events, otherwise, there are much more reasonable options with better sound and lower cost.

I don't understand. What does MLG have to do with Astros if there are better and cheaper headsets to be had?

i use really nice bose headphones, and have my mic around my neck.

I would agree I have A40s because I use them for pc and xbox. Best option is astro mix amp with sennheiser headphones. Its also worth noting that astros customer support is awesome.
