Why should I buy this game...seriously? It just looks like MW2 to me. No p1ss taking on my part Evil...I really want to know what sets this game apart from the other FPS. (I've never played the series)

I want to extend my fist through my monitor and punch you in yo stupid face. 1. Battlefield is team-based, much more than MW2. In MW, teamwork isn't necessary. In BF, it is. 2. BF tends to be a bit slower paced compared to MW. Maybe not by much, but slower nonetheless. 3. BF isn't as arcade-y as MW. 4. BF is actually good.
Its just a much more grown up version of cod with a realistic view, you get a gun a team and you play, no perks just a few things for the guns and few pieces of equipment. Excellent graphics, the servers imo were not great on bc2 but im hoping they will be improved in the new B3. Its more team focused with out killstreaks so there is no point in camping. I like cod, ill get the new one but it feels stale to me, no matter how many new toys they throw in it will always be a cod 4 remake. Give it a try Jay see what you think mate.
I'm sure BF3 will be a fun game, but I'm so used to playing COD (due to its smooth, fast-paced pickup-and-play action) that I'll probably get MW3 first.

Just got BF2 - holy sh*t I keep getting raped!!! I think I need to play story mode to get used to controls & sensitivities etc. Nice one Evil - good game.
Glad you like it, the maps are good but are mostly comprised of choke points so you will struggle with a team of tards but try using smoke and be sneaky.
