I have no way to record the games I play yet there HAS to be a way to report players that you are certain are aimbotting? I'm 3rd prestige and I know an aimbotter when I'm against one. I don't randomly accuse people and I don't accuse out of anger. But when someone is consistently landing chained hits on you no matter how frantic the duel, seeing their aim snapping back and forth as you watch them scope out their next target, it infuriates me when there is absolutely nothing you can do but leave the server.

I just recently left a game that included at least 5 members of a clan displaying their [FAP] tag. One of them I was sire was aimbotting, his alias is Drako with the FAP clan tag. After a very quick few run-ins it was more than obvious to tell he was aimbotting. Gunner seems to be a popular choice for aimbotting amongst players as they due huge amounts of DPS without really giving away the hack (unlike with Sniper class, for instance). I thought I'd inform the clan that one of their players was botting, and I was met with immaturity and hostility. This made me even more angry that a clan is either this ignorant to not believe it, or this determined as to keep it hushed. They even tried to turn the tables on ME and set a vote against me. It didn't work but my point remains, it sickens me that I need to share servers with people who just don't have the confidence or the decency to use some skill to get results. And clan that endorses such a thing is terrible if the numbers are stacked in their favour so they will essentially never get voted out.

Why doesn't MNC have killcam? At least then you would only need the smallest amount of footage to get a ban, and as I have no means of recording my games (I don't have the processing power to play and record at the same time) does that mean I have to let these people get away with it?

All I'll say is if you bump into [FAP] clan members pay very close attention to them, especially Drako, as he was the one I spotted with the hack.

Draketh is the end result of over a decade of point-and-click headshotting. He's essentially played every single game with a sniper in it ever created, and only plays the sniper class. The man's cortex is entirely dedicated to muscle memory and hand-eye coordination. He is the technological Georges Seurat. For every dot in "Un dimanche aprs-midi l'le de la Grande Jatte", Draketh has made a blood splattered skull.

Draketh's secret to sniper success is sleeping pills. I, on the other hand, downloaded my skills.

It's true, I've witnessed the man click heads under the influence of enough substances to kill a lesser creature. Nerd-faggott evolution at its finest...

This is exactly the reason why we require proof before any steps are taken.

You should really go Sniper against team FAP and concentrate on that Assault SunnyDove. He loves playing against Snipers I hear... :3

There's a theory that being high levelled doesn't necessarily mean you're any good - I believe this thread proves that.

So you're all just going to assume that the aliases are legitimate? I've seen Sunny Dove's footage and if I'm to know even the slightest bit of information, it's that he doesn't act like a 12 year old troll.

It's also very discomforting to know that I'm being treated much the same here on the official forums simply because a couple names have been dropped that ultimately signify legitimate world class players. I know skill and I know hacks. I've been headshotted with disgusting precision, very consistently sometimes in previous matches, but I'm not so quick to shout "aimbot" when I know that is genuine skill (as rage inducing as it is).

I'm not saying 3rd prestige means I'm amazing and deserve not to get my *** handed to me. I'm saying that I've played more than enough games to know when I'm being conned.

But judging by what I've been met with here I guess I should just QQ over my keyboard and deal with it, because a name seems to be enough to get someone off the hook in this community :?

I just think you need a bit more experience.
When people stand up for someone with strong aim it is because that person knows more than just good aim. A botter can aim but moves like an idiot. Someone who is actually good may aim well, but you will notice he or she also knows where to be and when to be there. Where to place traps, etc.

I am sure you are confident in your ability to assess cheats when you see them, but I am the author of Memory Hacking Software, the very tool a lot of players use to make cheats.
Trust me when I say you cant have more experience than me in regards to understanding cheaters. The only person who stands a chance at that is DarkByte, the author of Cheat Engine, and I am not even sure he is much of a gamer.

I play [6*] Tiblolan 1-on-1 sometimes, Assassin vs. Sniper. I can understand how you think some people cant aim like that but they can. And you just have to work around it.

I've played against the people you're accusing and they are just that damn good.
I've played with/against people in other FPS games that are so damn good that they get accused of cheating left and right

I've seen people in UT2004 that could pop your head off with no trouble and they weren't even pro level
I've played with/against people in BC2 that would have you swearing up and down that they were cheating

I have seen cheats, I have fought cheats, those guys are not cheats. Damn good, frustratingly good, but not cheats

I have played against a couple of those guys and they are extremely good at what they do. All I can say is: take it as a challenge or if the teams are just too uneven switch servers. In some cases the best you can hope for is to keep them busy. If I can keep a sniper like Tib busy in a 1v1 fight he can't shoot my whole team constantly. That gives them the chance to defend or even win the match.

Sometimes the best you can hope for is to play cat and mouse and maybe get better at avoiding LoS or their optimal attack range. You might die ten times but you'll learn something.

PS: Sometimes it makes sense to switch classes. Assault and Assassin are pretty mobile and can give you a fighting chance.

I have as much experience as I need to see a botter. You're assuming I don't know what to look for and everything you've mentioned is everything I look for. It is frustrating when people assume I'm just a QQing n00b that doesn't know when I'm beat, I'm not, because I know when I'm beat, but I also know when I'm being taken for an idiot. This should be implied without me having to even mention it but since you bring it up, yes I do look for the way people play, I look at how they move and I know that aimbotters like to throw their weight around because, quite simply, they can. A gunner is a great choice as they really don't need to think about much at all (ability-wise) all they need is 3passive as soon as possible and anything else requires little forward thinking.

I never implied I had more or less experience than you, just that I have enough to know what I'm talking about. I only need to be an experience gamer to know what I see, programming completely aside. No human can achieve flawless consistency. When pitted against other humans, the feedback factor eliminates that feat. The only way to bypass it is with hacks that, for example, track a player's every move as they're making it, however erratic, near or far, with whichever abilities in place to throw the aggressor, even for a moment. When you combine all of these things together and discover that your opponent still successfully emptied 12 shots into you in less than a second, without fail, before switching to another target to repeat the process, well, I guess that makes me a n00b that likes to jump to conclusions. Or maybe you'll just tell me that I'm over-exaggerating, because I must be wrong?

If there is no way for me to report these players without actual fraps footage then I guess I'll just have to hope to find fair servers or just stop playing altogether. I was merely pointing something out to the community here and all of a sudden my own integrity is put into question

You're wrong. Anyone in FAP or RWM are basically the top players in MNC-PC at the moment.

As for gunner, all you need to do is rev up the minigun for a second and you will kill anything in short order.

No one's making fun of you.

No one put your integrity on the line. These people are known personally by members here and they simply arent cheating.

You arent the first to suspect them and wont be the last, but they are people who have proved their trust over a long period of time. You just havent seen them before now.
