New maps are horrible, bayonet is useless, weapon shield is meh. New gear is awesome, so is the patch. I'd rate the whole package a 6, probably.
The founders map(i think) should have had a few objectives outside because there is a lot of space not really used and its really bright and colourful so wouldve been fun, i like the bayonet playing operative. The uav is really gay, i thought you would be able to fly it any where but you have to stay at a certain height level and to some paths. I like the dlc though, an the fact that its free.
thombow is a retard. now that we have that out of the way... the maps are pretty good. the tower is a tad confusing to navigate, but once you learn it it makes for some great battles. there is no flank routes (that i have found) that lead into the final objective room, which makes for some awesome gun battles. the lab (this is the map btw, pure) is a good map all up until the ending of the last objective. it was build in a way that it is very easy to massively turtle the area right before the turn in point, and almost entirely halt the offenders unless they put forth a massive amount of teamwork (not gonna happen in pubs). every match i have played on this map has ended with the defenders winning because of a massive turtle. --- The abilities are interesting, to say the least. i cant comment on the UAV or scanner, but i have at least seen all the other ones in action. the napalm grenade is pretty good, but the area it covers isnt all that large. pyro mine is really powerful when placed at the proper choke point. the field healer thing is ok, but doesnt give a very powerful buff, especially considering the small radius. --- the attachments are interesting. the weapon shield would be amazing if you are willing to lose nearly all of your equip speed on that particular gun. the bayonet, as pure mentioned above, is really only good for makeshift assassinating. the animation to stab is actually kind of sow, and really hard to line up in brinks fast paced gameplay. --- the outfits are very well done. both of them are good in their own right, but they also blend well with other pieces.
