You know, I live/grew up in downtown toronto, where Drake is from. I'm 32, been listening to hiphop since RUN DMC and PE. I love all types of music and hip hop. If I want serious hiphop I listen to something like Vinny Paz or DL icognito. I listen DJ Khaled type stuff if I'm at a party. I even like wayne in certain situations, but Drake, I just don't get why people think he's so good. Sure a couple of his songs are kinda catchy, but he's not a very good singer, his lyrics are nothing special, especially compared to an MC that puts more than 10 minutes into writing and technically he get's blown out of the water but most decent MCs.

So drizzy drake my good man, please explain to me why he's so good.

Alright Jon, be prepared to cough up some points:

Drake has a crew called October's Very Own - ovo

ddr wanted to immortalize that crew on his skin, but also wanted xo till we overdose. He decided to mash the two together, creating ovodose. Ovodose is silly, so he figured by leaving the 'r' off he could still allude to "ovo" with "ove" then add "dose" - that way it can be partly for drake, but able to be played off as just overdose depending on the situation (or his age at the time.)

It's actually fairly descriptive as ovodose - he's really, really feeling drake and is kind of overdosing on him.

And ddr you really should learn to communicate, especially when you're so obsessed with retorting that you're dean's list and GPA and top scores and blah, blah, blah. You claim 'greater-than-yours' intelligence frequently yet display the language mechanics of an 8 year old.
