Stop killing your own game, Uber. Release the mod tools.

Then I misinterpreted your post. Do you want them to update the xbox before they shift engines and switch to something without giving mod tools to the PC? Or do you want them to hurry up on the engine shift even if it ends up being buggy? Or am I making my username more and more appropriate and still missing the point entirely?

the games already on the downard slope, ive been trying to play tonight and there are a total of 3 5 star servers with anyone playing in them under 100 ping and maybe 4 more above. lol This game needs a serious map pack bad, ill even pay for it.

seriously im usually vocally anti dlc, but I need some new environments bad. How bout a ctf dlc ?

If there are still only 5 maps for the one gamemode, the game is DOOMED.

The game has been "DOOMED" for various reasons over the last 7 months

This is its not too late to get something minor out but it may be too late to start working on it now.

If the would have released the mod tools already everything would have to be updated for the new engine. Which means even more time spend on the mod tools and the community would have to update all maps at some point.

I want mod tools too, everybody does. With Uber having less than 20 employees (AFAIK) some things are just not possible. We can't have updates, a new engine, skins, new maps and mod tools. As sad as it might be, things have to be prioritized. Bug fixes, new maps and skins sell more copies, so that's a no brainer. Updating to the new engine is pretty high on the list and has to be done.

That leaves the mod tools as the one thing that would make sense to release at a later point in time. It's not an easy decision but Uber only has so many man hours available.

Sometimes I think we ask too much but I hope that they can try out working on a rudimentary kit after the engine update.
