Okay, I'll admit I love the game and all the little ambient thing the broadcaster says while he covers the game, but there are a few things I'd love to see added to the game to add to that Ambiance. 1. More Teams! The Hotshots can only play against The Icemen so much before I start to go "Where are the other teams in this sport?" Yes, Red vs Blue is typical, but where are the teams who are Green or Purple or Yellow. Maybe the yellow team could be the Killer Bees. 2. Commercial Breaks! Let's have some commercial breaks in the middle of the game, or if not in the game, on a small pop up window in the corner. I wanna see some of the commercials for Ammo Mule and LazeRazor in game, even if it's a window-in-window presentation. I'd also settle for a "And that's the game. Now let's have a word from our Sponsor!" 3. All-Star Crossfire! It's like Crossfire mode, but everyone starts off fully upgraded. Maybe folks will finally spend their money on buying turret. Plus, it would make sense there would be 'all-stars' and an 'All-Star' Game. 4. Training Mode for the other classes beside Assault. This would help folks learn about a new class, instead of experimenting with them in game. Just an idea. And seriously, it would be nice if folks could learn to be a halfway decent Assassin via training instead of with 'on-the-job' training. Because those folks tend to be 2/3 of my team. Anyways, that's just my few thoughts.
Maybe a nice little easter egg would be a side-scrolling 8-bit version of the game to play while migrating. That'd be awesomely awesome.
First thread I've seen where I can honestly say I like all of your ideas, even though some of them I've heard before. Teams: Why stop there? If we're going to have more than just the Hot Shots and the Ice Men, let's give them some differentiation! Give them different looks to their armor and bots, and maybe give each one a special little team ability that doesn't necessarily do a whole lot, but at least makes you feel like you really are a different team. Commercials: I would love to see more of these, whether in game or just released on the site. It would also be nice to have little one, maybe two battle campaigns with little cutscenes shedding some light on the characters. Even if such cutscenes were only released on the website, I'd still be happy!
